Andrew groans in my ear when the alarm wakes us. I move my hand around searching for it, not ready to open my eyes.

"Turn it off and come back to bed", he tells me in his husky and inviting voice as I find my phone.

"Dammit", a whine, taking the phone in my hand. "We're late. We have to leave".

"What?" He asks me, half sleeping.

"Is seven already", I complain. We should have woken up at six.

"I don't care, come back to bed", he says. His hand holds my arm and pulls me back to it.

"I don't want to be late. You have to take me home to change. You told me you set the alarm at six".

"No, I told you I always wake up at six". He corrects me.

"But you didn't". I glare at him before I leave the bed.

"Why can't you wear one of my shirts? We can sleep some more then".

"I can't believe you."

"You can be late at least once."

"Well, Mr boss had given me a lot of work. He wouldn't want me to delay it, would he?" I ask him.

It's all his fault. He doubled my tasks after the benchmark study he requested. And I still have another one he had asked before the benchmark one. Both must be ready by the end of next week.

I stop complaining when I spot his sleepy face. And I stare at him for a minute.

He sits on the bed, leaning against the headboard. His eyes are still closed. His hair is all over, his cheeks are flushed, and he's slightly frowning. I must confess... it's so damn cute.

But don't look down... Look everywhere but don't look down Kelsey. You know he's wearing only his briefs. One peek at it, and the mission will be aborted.

"How is the benchmark study going?" Jeremy asks me, sitting in front of me in my office.

"Still have a lot to do", I reply, focusing on him instead of my computer.

"You must like it a lot", he states.

"Why?"

"You can't stop smiling. I've never seen someone so happy with a task." I blush after his statement.

I continue my assignment once Jeremy leaves my office. His statement doesn't make sense. I do like my job. I do, but not as much to be smiling about it.

I wasn't smiling about it. I don't remember to be smiling at all.

I forget all about it when Dani texts me to invite me for a drink tonight because she hasn't seen me this week.

It's Friday already, this week has passed so fast.

"Hey", I greet Dani, joining her in the bar. I take my blazer off placing on the chair and sitting.

"Hi! You look good", she tells me, smiling and looking at my work clothes.

"Thanks, you too", I smile back.

We order our drinks, and she updates me about her relationship with Eric. Everything looks good, yet I miss her enthusiasm. She isn't excited about it as a while ago. And I wonder if it's only because the honeymoon phase is over, or if it's something else.

"And you? You must have something going on. I've never seen you so happy". She asks, her eyes deep in me.

"Yeah, things are going pretty well. I'm going to France, my internship is quite cool...", I reply.
