I'm avoiding overthinking, but the taste of coffee reminds me of my toothbrush in his place. And it triggered my memory of all the other little things. Like the conditioner, that's in the bathroom too.

Plus, a few of my clothes are in his closet since yesterday. We took it before going to his apartment.

Last night we slept there again, and he didn't want to wake up so early this morning.

That makes a toothbrush, two sets of work clothes, a conditioner, and a stupid shampoo he bought with the conditioner. Because once his sister told him his shampoo wasn't good enough, too cheap and blah blah blah. Whatever, I didn't want another shampoo. I won't use it anyway.

I'm still not counting the hairdryer, it's not there yet. It should be delivered today, at least it was what Andrew told me.

How many items are there again? I sip my coffee not wanting to think too much of it, but recognizing it's too much for a fling.

"He made a joke. Can you believe it? The boss joked during a meeting", Jeremy announces. He's entering the coffee room, followed by other employees. Halting my thoughts.

"He's obviously having some. I'll request a salary increase, we have to take this opportunity. The guy never smiled before and now he's all smiles and jokes." I gasp hearing Antony's comment.

"Oh please. Did you see the guy? It's obvious he's always having some." I gasp again, hearing Lisa now. She's opening a cookie box.

"This is something new. I bet he's with someone. Gia told me he received a hairdryer today. I'm sure it's for a woman", Lisa lows her voice, still, it was very easy to hear it. And I almost choke with my coffee.

I can't believe he ordered the hairdryer to be delivered here.

"He's your boss Lisa", Jeremy intervenes.

"Yeah, but it's not my fault he's too fiiine for a boss," she replies.

And I can't believe she really said it.

"Aren't you married?" I ask harshly. Anger growing inside me, I'm glaring at her. She should be watching her man, not someone else's.

"Come on Kelsey, you have to admit the boss is handsome. He's drop-dead gorgeous." She urges me, taking a bite of her cookie.

"I...uh. I never notice, he's the boss", I stuttered nervously. As if it has stopped me from ogling him. Or dreaming of him. Or sleeping with him. I hope they don't notice how abnormally deranged I'm about it. I hope it's not writing all over my face that I'll use his hairdryer.

I look away, trying to ignore Lisa's gossip and comments about Andrew. She continues with it, expressing clearly what she thinks of him. It doesn't matter that she's married or that he's her boss.

My ear is burning. The way she talks about him... It's just- Ugh!

The woman has no respect. It's disgusting.

"I'm glad you join us in our conversation Mr. Wright", Lisa talks, and I observe Gia and Andrew joining the coffee room. I can't avoid glaring at her. The audacity.

"Sure", it's all he replies, approaching the coffee machine.

"We were talking about relationships," she informs him, eyeing him and taking a sip of her coffee. I can almost hear the machines working in her head.

"So, do you have a girlfriend or fiancée?" She asks.

"I don't have time for a relationship", he answers, tasting his coffee.
