Part 16 the green family

 I scribble out something on my notepad I've been using a notepad to do my work on, I don't want anyone tampering with my work but the chances of someone messing with it is low because I'm doing it old school. It's better that way less chance of the police, FBI, or the CIA and all are under the command of the government I wasn't going to take my chances in be caught by anyone. I reach for my phone wanting to know if Jake had anything new for me to follow but to my dismay there was nothing, nothing at all from him. To be honest it has been a little while since I've even heard from him which is a fair bit concerning to say the least. Shaking my head I set the phone down, "I wonder if I could find anything on Jake?" I ask aloud even though I know no one was around to answer this question other then Linn but he's a cat so that doesn't really count. I shrug I guess there's only one way to find out, so I get to work on finding some info on him.

 As the hours trickle away I still had yet to find anything on Jake, but I guess it is what it is and there ain't anything I can do about it, at least for now. I soon then close my laptop and head to bed as for it has been a long day and much has happened in such a short time frame. I awoke bright and early the next morning I'd feed Linn and head to a local map store. It was pretty cloudy out today I wonder if it'll rain I sure hope it doesn't. Walking into the map shop I was greeted by the clerk, I wave saying morning, I made my way to the maps of Duskwood for there was still many places that I still don't know about and I really want to know more of the town other then what Jessy had showed me. Soon a few minutes had gone by and I had finally found the map I was looking for I bought the map. Standing outside of the shop I look a the map studying it, I could hear it now my dad gripping and complaining about how I bought a map when I had a map on my phone. This only made me chuckle for I know my grandma would have been saying that I made a smart choice in buying the psychical map for it is more reliable then a map on a phone could ever be. I really hadn't really realized that I missed them tremendously I sigh soon I'd get to see them speaking of which I really should get an apartment if I plan on living here. Groaning I look back at the map and marked the destination on it that I wanted to go to. I had walled for thirty minutes to get to my destination, I now stood in front of a cute looking bakery called Bun Boutique a cute name for a cute looking place. I head inside and was quickly overwhelmed by a warm sweet smell of cinnamon rolls and various other sweet treats which has my mouth watering.  "Good afternoon miss what can we get for you today?" I hear someone ask me I look to my left to see a young woman in her mid twenties with dark brown hair with very pretty green eyes. "oh um I'm not sure actually, I'm kind of new to the town" I respond to her she smiles and we get chatting about the sweets they sell and what sounds the best to buy. I learn that her name was Ali Green and that her mother is the one who owns the cute bakery to of which her mother walks out from the back door for only workers. "Oh hi there" she says I wave to her and interduce myself and she does the same her name is Laura Green. I have and have a joyful conversation with them I sooner or later bought myself some beautiful looking sweet treats. I thanks them as I walk away from the Bun Boutique smiling as I can't wait to try these treats.
