Jake's POV
I had messaged Kayla to see If she had any leads but she said she didn't have any and that she was going to sleep and not to message her. I have to say she was an odd female to say the least she's not like most people that I've met but then again I don't really talk to people after all I am being tracked down by the FBI. In all honesty I don't want her do get involved For this reason They would use her as a way to get me to come out of hiding. I type away on my computer as I try to find some leads on Hannah which is going to hard since I didn't have any leads to go off of. I continue to work through the night as to what I normally do on these nights slowly the day starts coming around. As I work I just seem to not be able to get Kayla off my mind pulling out my phone thinking about messaging her is when I get a message from her stating that she's got some news for a few minutes I don't say anything so that way I don't seem to want to now more like a crazy person. She tells me the news and I quickly start to work with this information even though it's not much but it is a start. Kayla then sparks a conversation with me and we just start talking even though I know that it's not a good idea for me to get to close to her but I couldn't help it she was just so interesting. I just hope I'm not making a bad decision on talking to her and getting to know her because it could be dangerous for her to really get to know me. I hadn't realized how much time had gone by because it was nice talking to her which leaves a odd feeling in my chest this feeling I had not a clue as to what it was. Eventually she says she has to get some sleep I just say okay which might have been a little rude of me but I can't let her get to close to me I don't want to harm anyone else. I eat the get some sleep myself knowing that I need it for I fall asleep quite quickly when I closed my eyes for the night.
