He paused and I was ready for whatever. Knowing Oliver, or what little I knew of Oliver, it could very well be anything.

"I'm gonna be straight forward and say that I'm a terrible human being. My temper is shorter than short and I don't care about anything really. And I don't want you to be around that nonsense because pretty much all things I do are nonsense."

I was hearing as he rambled but I wasn't listening. Not at all. I was too busy staring at him and wondering about the nonsense and how much of his nonsense was I included in. Was I the nonsense?

"But I think you're a snoopy person. Can't mind your own business all the time. So I figured this would help. I'll give you my secrets from beginning to end the further we get into you talking. As long as you don't stop me from keeping you safe and as long as you don't snoop on your own."

That was easy enough seeing as I wasn't a detective. I wouldn't be figuring much out anyhow. And he grinned when he saw that I considered. His lip quieted up again and again because he knew I'd be saying yes. It wouldn't be that hard to mind my own business. And hearing his secrets was a plus. A big one.

I nodded, but he got this hesitant look in his eyes before becoming more determined and more Oliver. "No Mary Jane I don't want to see you nod when I can hear you say yes. Say it for me please?" And I whispered. I didn't want to hear my own voice. I was afraid of what it would sound like and what I'd feel so I tried to keep myself from me. When that grin broke out on his face and he looked me in the eyes, really really looked into them, I smiled back more confidently.

"Hell yeah Oliver. I'm gonna hear all your secrets. You better be prepared!" I was excited now and I couldn't help it. When my emotions were high it was like I didn't have time to stop myself.

"Okay so how about this. I'll give you challenges and with these challenges I'll put a secret over it. Little challenge equals little secrets and likewise for the big ones." He explained all the while looking intelligent and making my mouth water
just by the way he was making faces and pulling fingers through his hair. His piercing ever so present in making me realize that he really was a little different and he really might have been a little wild.

"So yeah then I'll bend you over the couch and make you cu-" he was in the middle of saying this when I screamed. What the fuck was he saying and why was I losing my mind over it? Then he was laughing and by laughing I mean guffawing on the ground as if he were a two legged donkey with a torn voice box. I kicked him with my foot, nudged really, and asked quietly.

"What's that you're talking about? Cause my feet are really close to something important to you Oliver. In fact," I became as daring as Oliver me me want to be. "I think this is your little prized possession right under my foot isn't it?" And for extra measure I pretended I'd stomp on him.

Immediately he was in his feet apologizing and trying to stop laughing so hard. Though it seemed like he couldn't control himself.
"You just never pay attention to anything and I wonder what's got you on another universe sometimes. Pay attention and you might get some real information on me."

You are what's on my mind you idiot.

"Why do you think I wanna know about you all the time Oliver?" I asked quietly. This was a question I'd been wondering for a while.

"When it comes to you I can only hope that you wanna know Mary Jane," he uncomfortably scratched his head. "but then again who doesn't." He laughed and I frowned before laughing. Does he not get a break from people very often?

Also I wanted to know what he did for money. He seemed to prideful to ask his parents for everything he ever wanted.

"Oliver. What do you do to get money?" I asked and I hoped he wouldn't get angry because I knew exactly how short guess he was. Too short fused for me to handle all the time.
