"We are not doing this! Not right now." Leo said raising his voice ever so slightly as Julia tried to grab his arm and stop him from leaving for the day. The resident pulled his arm from the girls grip and backed up to grab his shoes. Julia was crying and Leo's eyes were red like he had been crying at least a little bit before.

"No! You can't do this! Please Leo!" Julia begged. "We're supposed to be together forever like we promised."

"I'm staying at a hotel tonight. I need a break." Leo said. He walked past the girl and left the house to try and go to work for the day, acting like none of this even happened

"Leo!" Jemma slightly cheered seeing the resident when she walked out of the room where she had changed. Leo was not working the other day and his interns who were working were sent to work with other residents. The resident leaned against a wall as he waited for his other interns to arrive. Leo watching his interns line up eagerly in front of him.

"Let me remind you all of a few things. First off, I'm not your friend and I am also not like some of the other doctors you will meet here. If you want to grow and gain my respect you will not earn it by trying to sleep around with other doctors to gain OR time." Leo said. The residents eyes shifted over to the group of interns that had just walked past the group. He had heard a little bit too much over the past few days.

"Dr. Sloan." The resident turned to face Burke who had called out his name.

"Yes?" Leo asked.

"I need the OR-"

"Your patient's severity higher then my patients?" Leo asked.

"Non-small cell carcinoma-"

"Whatever take the OR. If I find out you had an OR and wanted a different one I'm going to be pissed off." Leo said. He glanced back at his interns. "Porter, go inform the family the surgery will be pushed back." Burke said something else that Leo had ignored before he turned towards Kase and Arthur.

"Dr. Sloan-"

"Let's just started for the day."

Leo leaned against the desk for the nurses station as he discussed a patient with one of them. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Bailey and her whole intern squad run around the corner towards the elevator which just opened. He quickly finished his conversation right before yelling could be heard.

"Watch it! Hands off me! I could report you to the chief and you'd be out on your ass." A woman yelled. Cristina read the chart for the woman as the others moved the gurney forward.

"Patient's name is ...ah... Complaining of intermittent cramping pain and diarrhea. Also suffers from ...ah... Alzheimer's." Cristina said. She almost never sounded as unconfident as she sounded now. Something was off. Bailey asked for the patient's name but the intern didn't answer. The woman turned and looked at Meredith who had frozen in the hallway. Leo quickly walked towards the intern as the woman started shouting again.

"What the hell are you doing here? Haven't I told? How many times have I told you not to bother me when I'm at work?!" The woman yelled.

"Come on." Leo said softly to the intern as he acted a little bit like a bodyguard as the intern walked away as quickly as possible and hid behind a wall. They were not far enough away to stop Leo from hearing the patients name.

"Ellis Grey."
