Origin of our wounds

Chapter 59

3 rules. Upon agreement Leo and Kase gave themselves three rules for whatever was going on between them.

1. They go slow.

Start an actual relationship instead of just a hook up type thing. One of the reasons for Leo's dislike of these sort of things happened to be how they all seem to start as hook ups before ever getting to be a relationship.. he wanted a relationship.

2. They don't tell anyone just yet. 

They didn't know what this was just yet and until they did; Leo couldn't tell Arizona, Callie, or Bailey and Kase couldn't tell Jemma and Arthur or any of the new residents. 

3. No hooking up in the hospital.. at least until they figured out what they were.

They weren't going to be one of those pairs dating. They weren't going to just be sitting there making out when patients or co workers could be needing them but they were no where to be found. 

Those were their three rules.. for now.

"Shit. Shit. Shit! We are so going to be late." Kase cursed as he worked to quickly get dressed in Leo Sloan's car. He let out a yell as his hand hit the roof of the car at the light they stopped at.

"We are five minutes away and our shifts don't start for half an hour." Leo responded. 

"25 minutes early is late for doctors." Kase stated. "We have to look at our case load for the day and prep."

Leo scoffed. He glanced over at Kase at the red light before it turned green and he began to drive again. "What's the point of changing your clothes in my car if you are changing at work too?" 

"I slept on the couch at Grays house, no one can know!" 

"Congratulations, you got permission to stay at Meredith's house because a party was being thrown in the apartment next to yours." Leo stated. He turned into the parking lot of the hospital. "What's going to be more suspicious? You wearing your old clothes, or somehow having new clean ones at that house or in my car." 

Kase froze, his eyes widening as he looked down at the ground. A loud curse escaped him as he scrambled to change again. Leo laughed, pulling his key from his pocket and throwing it into the cup holder before he got out of the car. He headed into work alone.. but happy.
