"Where is Dr. Sloan? He was only supposed to be gone for three days." Arthur complained as he spun in a chair at the nurses desk as they waited for their resident of the day. Apparently Leo only informed Webber of where he was going and why, then the news of him being out spread to everyone else but was never explained. "How can he just abandon us like this?"
Jemma hummed in almost agreement. She was almost as annoyed as Arthur was for this situation. They had no news and they were still just being bounced around between resident to resident like they were nothing to each and every once of them.
"It's been a week. Are we even sure he's coming back?" Jemma asked. She looked over at the other intern waiting around with them. "You okay Kase? You've been pretty quiet."
Kase looked up at the sound of his name. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm sure he'll come back soon."
"I, I'm driving black on black. Just got my license back. I got this feeling in my veins this train is coming off the track."
A radio played in a large hotel room. A body was pinned against the wall with a laugh as they felt the careful hands and kisses. The other person just smiled as they continued on with the new song.
"I'll ask polite if the devil needs a ride. Because the angel on my right ain't hanging out with me tonight." The song continued on.
"Hey don't you have to do something today?" The laughing asked when they could.
"I'll push it back."
One of their hands reached out to turn the radio up but the others hand grabbed his own. "Leo, you have a plane to catch. You can't miss it for the third time."
"I can't just leave you Roland." Leo spoke quietly.
"Hey you and I both knew this wasn't permanent, just until you went back home." Roland pushed the other away from him. He turned off the music as he began to walk through the room, the mood being killed quickly.
"But what if I stay. If you asked I-"
"Leo, we both know you won't stay." Roland sighed. "You came here to do an interview and got offered the job you wanted but still declined it. Why?"
"I'm leaving. And if I get the job it's going to be for good. So what do you want? For me to stay or go?"
"I want you to go Leo. I don't want you to miss out on something like this because of me."
Roland moved towards the resident placing his hand gently on his cheek. "You have a life back in Seattle. Someone is waiting back there for you and you know it. Your plane leaves at 8, go back to them."
