Santu took the sweet box and distributed them to everyone. Just then BC entered MPT.
BC: Aree Santosh ji, aap kab aayi?
SS: Bass abhi 5-10 min pehle hi aayi, Billu ji.
She said before giving a sweet to BC too.
BC: Mithayi!? Matlab shaadi fix ho gyi!?
SS nodded.
BC: Kab hai!?
SS: Matlab, rishta pakka hua hai, date bhi jaldi fix ho jaayegi.
BC nodded.
CC: Shaadi me hume toh bulayengi na Santu Ji?
SS: Obviously Cheete! Aap sab log nhi aayenge toh Di shaadi hi nhi karegi.
All chuckled.
HM: Chaliye now let's get back to work!
Everybody nodded and got back to their work.
Some time later a couple entered the thana.
Couple: Maddam please humaari help kijiye. Hume humaare paise or jewellery vaapis dilwa dijiye.
SS: Haa ek second. Pehle baithiye or aaram se bataiye ki kya hua.
The couple took a seat, all the MPT members gathered and SS took the FIR register and started writing.
Man: Ji humaara naam Rahul Mishra hai or yeh hai humaari patni Anjali Mishra.
SS: Rahul Anjali? Waah! Aapke parents ki favourite movie 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' thi kya?
CC: Uff! Yeh Masoomiyat!
KS glared at him.
CC: Sorry madam, sorry *in his style*
HM: Aap bataiye, kya hua?
Man: Ji maddam, thank you. Humaare ghar chori hui hai. Kal raat tak sab thik tha, par aaj subah hum jab uthe toh humaare saare paise or saari jewellery gaayab thi.
Woman: Maddam, unme se kuch meri maa ki jewellery bhi hai, jo unki aakhri nishaani hai. Please humaari madad kijiye maddam.
HM: Haa haa, hum zaroor aapki madad karenge aap itminaan rakhiye.
HM asked them some questions and concluded that the couple had no idea about the thief.
HM: Hum uss chor ko pakad lenge, aap itminaan se ghar jayiye. Hum thodi der me aapke ghar aate hai, dekhte hai ki koi suraag milta hai kya.
Couple: Thank you maddam.
The couple left and everyone gathered in HM's cabin.
KS: Ma'am yeh iss hafte ka 4th chori ka case hai.
HM: Kahi yeh ek hi chor ka kaam toh nahi?
PS: Ho sakta hai maddam sir.
HM: Hum or Pushpaji Mishra's ke ghar jaa kar dekh aate hai, kahi koi suraag mil jaaye toh.
KS: Maddam sir hum chalte hai na aapke sath
HM: Karishma Singh aap yahi rehkar thana sambhaliye, hum jaate hai.
KS nodded and HM left with PS.
KS activated her network, and tried to get some information about such cases, but got no clue. Nor did PS and HM find and clue at the Mishra's house, and returned to the thana.
HM: Ajeeb baat hai, pichle ek hafte me chaar gharo me chori hui hai, or ek jagah bhi koi surag nhi mil raha. Agar yeh chor koi ek hi insaan hai, toh vo bohot zyada hi shaatir hai. Hume sirf yeh star shape bana hua card pada hua mila, khidki ke paas.
HM showed them the star card.
SS: Maddam Sir! Ek minute!
Santu showed them a map of their locality. She made dots on the houses that got robbed and connected them. She made an additional dot on a house, and connected all the dots which made a star.
SS: Maddam sir maine pehle ke teeno FIR padhe, iss chor ne yeh saare gharo me chori ki hai, or inhe sequence wise join karne se star ke chaar line ban rahe hai. Or agar yeh apne star ke hisaab se chalta hoga toh vo ab iss ghar me chori karega (pointing towards the last dot)
HM: Aisa bilkul ho sakta hai! Good Job Santosh Sharma! I'm proud of you!
SS: Thanku Maddam sir.
CC came beside SS.
CC: Kitni smart hai aap Santu ji! Aaj subah aapne singhade khaye the na?
SS nodded and CC smiled.
HM: Santosh Sharma, iss star ke 5th dot pe kiska ghar hai pata lagaiye or inhe thane bulvaiye.
SS nodded.
HM: Ab yeh 5th ghar ke log hi humaari madad kar sakte h uss chor tak pohochne me.
SS: Maddam Sirr!! Yeh toh Nawab Sahab ka ghar hai.
PS: Aree Nawab Sahab ka ghar. Vo toh zaroor humaari madad karenge.
HM: Haa haa Pushpaji, vo aapko mana kaise kar sakte hai.
All chuckle except PS.
HM: Bulaiye Nawab Sahab ko thane.
SS calls Nawab to thana and soon he arrives.
PS: Aree Nawab Sahab, aap aa gye!?
Nawab: Ji Pushpaji, aap bulaye or hum naa aaye aisa ho sakta hai?
KS fakes a cough and Nawab immediately sits on a chair.
HM tells him the matter and Nawab gets scared.
Nawab: Pushpaji, kuch kijiye. Humaare ghar chori nhi honi chahiye.
PS: Haa haa Nawab Sahab, isliye aapko yaha bulaaya hai.
HM: Dekhiye, uss chor ne inn saare ghari ki details already nikaal li hogi. Isliye agar hum aapke ghar aaye toh use pata chal jayega ki hume uske baare me pata hai.
KS: Par Maddam Sir, hume Nawab Sahab ke ghar toh jaana hi padega na.
HM: Hum sabko nhi jaana hoga.
KS: Toh fir Maddam Sir?
HM: Santosh Sharma or Cheetah Chaturvedi, aap dono ek couple banke jayenge aaj Nawab Sahab ke ghar or uss chor ko lagna chahiye ki aap Nawab Sahab ke relative ho or unse milne aaye ho. Use bhanak bhi nhi lagni chahiye ki aap police ho. Chalega na Nawab Sahab?
Nawab: Bilkul chalega. Kuch bhi kijiye bass humaare ghar chori hone se bacha lijiye.
HM: Cheeta Santu, chalega?
CC: Chalega nahi, dodega Maddam Sir! Hume koi problem nahi hai iss plan se.
BC: Problem hogi bhi kaise *to himself*
SS: Thike Maddam Sir
