9. Shopping time

As all of them were already ready, they immediately left for shopping. In the car, AS and HM took the driving and passenger's seat respectively. KS, VS and BC took the second row. As CC entered the last row, SS was going to sit beside him, but Mahi went in before her. They got seated, with Mahi sitting in between CC and SS.

Along the way, Mahi kept talking to CC, as if no one else existed there. And this was bothering SS a lot. And what bothered her even more was that she couldn't understand why she's feeling like this.

Mahi: Cheete yaad hai, school me kaise ladke mere peeche pade rehte the? Ek sirf tu hi tha jo end tak mera sabse acha dost bana raha.

CC: Or yaad hai kaise vo tumhaare peeche baithne wala ladka mere paas aaya tha ki hum tumhaare sath uski setting karwa de?

Mahi and CC laughed.

Mahi: Haa, or fir tumne use peet diya tha.

SS looked at CC in disbelief. For a second she thought that CC liked Mahi.

CC: Toh ab tum humaari dost thi. Or vo ladka bilkul acha nhi tha. Isliye ek dost ka farz nibhate hue peet diya use.

Hearing this, SS sighed in relief, knowing that he doesn't like Mahi in that way. But Mahi didn't like the answer. She expected more from CC.

SS' face gleamed with happiness when she saw that they had reached the mall. The reason of her happiness was not just shopping, but also that she'd get a break from Mahi and her unstoppable blabbering mouth.

They got out and entered the mall.

AS: Pehle aap mahilao ki shopping kar lete hai, fir humaare liye kar lenge.

All nodded and went for buying dresses for the women of our MPT and Mahi.

While shopping,

HM: Yeh kaisa lag raha hai Anu? (showing him a dress)

AS: Haseena ji, aap pe sabhi acha lagta hai. Par hume lagta hai ki yeh wala lehenga aapki khoobsurati ko or shobha dega.

And just like that AS helps HM in buying some dresses.

VS: Yeh tumpe bohot acha lagega (showing KS a dress)

KS: Aapko pata hai na hume itna zyada loud or vibrant colour nahi pasand.

VS: Par yeh tumpe bohot sundar lagega, humne imagine karke dekha hai.

KS: Acha toh aapke imagination ke hisaab se hum dress le?

VS: Humaara matlab- , Chhodo, tum yeh khud pakad ke dekh lo.

KS holds the dress in front of her and looks in the mirror. The colour really suited her. She nodded and VS smiled. And like that KS' shopping continued.

Here SS was looking for some dresses with CC and Mahi. Mahi didn't leave CC even for a second. She was lurking around him all the time. And this disturbed SS a lot. She couldn't focus on shopping.

CC found a dress which he thought, would suit SS a lot. He took it and was about to show it to SS, when Mahi interrupted him and took the dress from him.

Mahi: Kitni sundar dress select ki hai tumne mere liye. Thanku!

She went in front of the mirror with the dress. SS saw all this, and thinking that CC was actually finding a dress for Mahi, she got even more frustated.

SS(in mind): Mujhe apni best friend bulaata hai, or abhi best friend ki jagah kisi or ki help kar raha h.

SS decided to just look for her dress without giving attention to any of these matters. As she continued searching for her dresses, CC found an even more eye-catching dress than before.

He immediately took it and went to SS.

CC: Santu ji yeh dekhiye!

SS turned around and looked at the dress. She was mesmerised by the beauty of the dress. She really liked the dress, but then she realised something and her expressions became cold.

SS: Haa thike, suit karegi Mahi pe.

CC: Santu ji yeh humne aapke liye dhoondhi hai.

SS' face gleamed with happiness.

SS: Sachi Cheete??? (he nodded). Thanku Cheete!! Bohot sundar hai yeh!! Shaadi ke din ke liye best lagegi!

CC too became really happy seeing SS gleam with so much of joy.

Mahi was watching them and she didn't like it even a bit. CC continued helping SS in shopping and soon they completed Women's shopping. It was time for the men now and they went in that section.

KS helped VS, and HM helped AS.BC looked for himself as he thought no one can match his fashion sense. But here, Mahi and SS both were looking for dresses for CC.

Mahi tried her best to find something before SS, but SS called CC near a stand where many sherwani's were hanging.

She took them one by one, held them in front of CC, seeing which suited him and which didn't.

CC didn't even hear half of the things she was saying. He was so lost in her. He was just staring at her, adoring her, while she kept on doing her work.

SS: Cheete yeh wale try kar (while giving him some clothes)

He didn't reply. She snapped her fingers in front of him. He came back to his senses and moved to the changing room, while SS looked for some coats. As he tried them, all looked perfect on him. He really liked the fact that SS knew what would suit him.

Soon the shopping session came to an end which three happy couples, a really cheerful BC and a sad and jealous Mahi going back to the resort.
