Jay's POV

I hold her close to me, tracing her spine gently as she sleeps peacefully against me. I've missed her this past week, and it was hard to convince myself that I do need to go back tomorrow morning for college. I sigh against her hair, pressing a feather-light kiss to her head.

She whines softly, burying her head deeper into me. I smile, rubbing her back gently. I slowly slide out from underneath her, handing her a pillow to cuddle with in my absence. I jog downstairs, beginning to make her favorite breakfast.

Chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries on top with whipped cream. I make her favorite tea, adding some eggs and bacon to the plate, before carrying the tray upstairs and opening the bedroom door.

She's sprawled out on the bed, snoring softly with her brown hair cascading down her back and over her exposed shoulder. I take a moment to appreciate her beauty, before I set the tray on the nightstand and crawl into bed beside her.

"Love? I brought you breakfast." I gently wake her up, rubbing her back. She whines but sits up to crawl into my arms. Burying her head into my neck, she mumbles incoherently.

"Sleep." She murmurs, kissing the side of my neck before nuzzling her nose in the same spot. I laugh softly, rubbing her back as I move myself so she's sitting on my lap.

"How about you eat something? Then, we can cuddle for as long as you want." I bargain, she's silent for a few moments. I worry she had fallen back asleep before she turns in my arms, relaxing against me, with her back to me.

"Okay." She agrees, reaching out to grab the tray beside the bed. I instantly grab it for her, setting it onto her lap before she could do it herself. She's still in shock, before she shrugs and begins to fork the food into her mouth. I chuckle, setting my chin on her shoulder and interlacing my hands in front of her stomach.

Tilting my head to the side, I kiss the inside of her neck. I breathe in her calming scent of lavender and wild flowers. "Jay, do you want to be in charge of the Mafia?" She wonders aloud, glancing back at me as she takes a bite of her pancakes.

"No one does. Well, I don't because I'm afraid that I'll lose you." I murmur against her soft skin, gently nipping at it to hear her giggles. I smile, waiting calmly for her to calm down.

"You won't lose me, silly! I'm always going to be here!" She smiles, her eyes wide with innocence. I sigh, kissing her cheek.

"I know, love. It's just... what if you get tired of all the secrecy and worry and pain that this will cause us and want to leave?" I whisper, my voice cracking from the pain of it. She quickly looks back at me, panic in her eyes.

"Never!" She exclaims, leaning her head far enough to kiss my chin. "I'll love you forever and I'm never leaving your side." She says firmly, her eyes blazing with dedication. I smile softly, pressing a sweet kiss to her lips. I pull away with a sigh, rubbing her arm gently.

"I love you." I murmur, gazing down at her softly. She bites her lip, smiling widely up at me.

"That's good, because you're stuck with me forever." She teases, I throw head back as laughter spills from my lips.

"What am I going to do with you?" I laugh out, she giggles with a tiny shrug.

"Put up with me forever." She winks, I smirk.

"Silly girl. I'll love you forever." I whisper in her ear; her eyes go wide. With a sudden stroke of inspiration, my fingers dance across her ribs. She bursts into giggles, squealing as I dig my fingers deeper into her skin.

"No! Stop Jay!" She laughs, her brown eyes lit up in joy. She escapes my grasp, squealing with laughter as she tries to run away from my dancing fingers.

"You can run but you can't hide!" I shout, racing after her with outstretched arms. She runs down the hall, skipping down the stairs giggling. I slow down, letting her stay in front of me and get away. There would definitely be time for me to win, but today she can win.
