Dawn's POV

I gasp, seeing him on one knee for me. He smiles up at me lovingly, his dark eyes seeming to hold all that is light and love.

"Dawn Parker, ever since you came into my life, you've challenged me in ways I never thought was possible. I thought I would always be this cold-hearted person, until you showed up. You changed me for, hopefully, the better." He chuckles slightly at that, he smiles back up at me.

"We've loved and lost, and I know I've made way too many mistakes to count, but I'm fulfilling a couple of my promises. I'm never leaving, and I'll love you forever. I will love you until the end of the world, Dawn. Please, make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" He kept it short and sweet, perfect for us. He opened the black velvet box, showing me the most beautiful ring in the world. It was simple enough for me, and fancy enough for him.

I don't know how he did it, but he did. The beautiful diamond was big, I'll give him that, but it was small enough for me to like it and the band was gorgeous with little diamonds on it in almost like a ribbon pattern.

"Yes! Yes!" I squeal, he stands and slides the ring on my finger. It looked bigger up close, but it was the most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. He wraps his arms around my waist, smiling from ear to ear with tears of love and happiness in his eyes. I'm sure they were in mine as well.

"Do you want to join the party? I want to dance to a slow song." I smile up at him hopefully, he chuckles and kisses me.

"As long as we can announce our engagement to everyone." He winks, I blush but nod.

"Okay!" I agree, beginning to drag him inside only to stop at the gorgeous sight in front of me. Rose petals littered the floor, tea lights around the room, and a rose petal heart in the middle of the bed.

"Did you do all of this?" I ask, gesturing to the beautiful room.

"Sort of, I asked the hotel to do it while we were partying." He flushes in embarrassment, I smile and kiss him softly.

"Well, thank you. Maybe we'll have to make use of the room, no?" I smirk as his haw drops, giggling as I lead him back down to the party. I run up to the DJ we were paying, tapping on his shoulder.

"Can we have a slow song please?" I ask, he nods and turns down the music.

"This is for all the couples out there!" He calls into the mic, Jay whispers something into his ear. "And it seems I have an announcement, if I could have everyone's attention." The DJ says, slowly everyone quiets as Jayden smirks down at me and pulls me close.

"Jayden and Dawn are engaged!" The DJ calls into the microphone, everyone cheers for us and applauds. "Congratulations, you two!" A slow song comes on, so I quickly grab Jay's hand, pulling him onto the dance floor.

He spins me slowly, pulling me close and dancing to the slow song. "I love you, Sunshine." Jay smiles down at me. Returning his smile, I lean up and gently kiss him.

"I love you too."
