I pull up behind the large, dark SUV waiting at my closed gates. I hop out, Damon instantly standing behind me as I make my way to the box to insert the pin. I have cloth covering my face and Damon shielding my body, so they couldn't tell anything about me. Quickly inserting the pin, Damon waves them forward. We hurry back to the car, driving after them and pulling up by the doors.

I take the cloth off, stepping out with Silver on my heels. I walk up the front porch steps, inserting the five different pins and unlocking the three locks. As I open the front door, I hear everyone begin to get out of their respective cars. "Silver, turn on the lights." I order, she whines but does as I ask. I turn to the men, seeing five large men I've never seen before. They were all buff, but one of them had a knife scar down his face and most of them had crooked noses.

"Welcome to my home, gentlemen. Come in and have a seat in my living room while I whip something up. I'm sure I have some leftovers from last night somewhere. If not, I could make tacos or something." I offer politely, gesturing for them to follow me. They exchange confused looks, but slowly follow me inside my home. Silver barks at my feet, telling me she's done.

"Good girl! I'll give you treat when we get into the kitchen, Silver." I tell her gently, she licks my hand as we walk into the living room. The men slowly sit down on the couches, watching me curiously. My bodyguards scatter around the room, watching the men. I smile at them happily, bouncing into the kitchen. I hear the door slam open, loud laughter echoing around the house.

"DAWN! I need FOOD!" Elliot shouts over his brother's laughter. I giggle, grabbing the leftovers from last night and heating them up as I toss some garlic bread in the oven and beginning to make cookies.

"Hold on, Elliot! I'm making food for our guests!" I call back, grabbing the heated-up dinner and splitting the rest into all the bowls. It was delicious spaghetti. I made everything myself. The noodles, the sauce; and I only used organic ingredients.

I quickly sprinkle some basil and parsley into the bowl, taking the garlic break out of the oven and tossing in the cookies. I quickly slice up the bread, smiling at my masterpiece. "ELLIOT! ELIJAH!" I scream, they quickly run in thinking I was in trouble. I point at the other bowls as I balance five in my arms.

"Carry these into the living room." I order, smirking at them as I head out into the silent living room. I hand the five bowls to the five Mafia men as Elliot and Elijah pass out the rest to all my guards and finally hands me one.

It's silent as I watch the men eat my food. I shakily take a bite, bouncing my leg slightly. Silver sets her head on my knee, stopping my bouncing. I sigh softly, stroking her silky ears. "Go get a treat." I nod, she jumps up and licks my face before heading into the kitchen to get herself a treat from her special cupboard.

"So, when are we going to meet Boss's lady?" The leader asks huskily, clearing his throat as he peers around me to the stairs. The guards look at them in outrage, all opening their mouths to speak. I raise my hand at my guards, shaking my head with a tight-lipped smile.

"You're looking at her." I raise my head proudly, staring them in the eye as a challenge. Taken aback, they stare at me in surprise.

"But... you look so innocent!" One of the younger looking one's gasps, I burst into a fit of giggles.

"I killed a man. My rapist, kidnapper, and ex-boyfriend. Fun, isn't it?" I snort sarcastically. They look at me wide-eyed.

"Really? Oh, well then. It's very nice to meet you Mrs. Boss! I'm Enzo." The leader states, his black hair styled in natural curls with olive eyes. Very buff but had a crooked nose and bushy eyebrows.
