What Naira saw while walking on the dark and empty road freaked her out....she saw the same man, sitting near the bus stand, following her.....the moment she saw him she became restless and started sweating badly.....she started walking a little faster but the next moment she realised that even that man has increased his pace and was now approaching her quite quickly......the moment she realised it, her shopping bags fell on the road and started running on the road trying to escape him.....

She kept running for sometime and then she saw an empty garage....she quickly went inside it trying to hide from the man......she looked outside the window...and saw him standing outside the garage.....she had locked the doors while coming in but he was trying to break in through the window by climbing the wall....she panicked and locked the window she then went to another corner and locked herself inside the washroom....she was crying and was really panicking.

Then she tried calling her father and brother but to her disappointment none of them answered the call.....then suddenly something striked her.....

She dialed Kartik's no.

On the other hand,

Kartik was still working with some files and discussing it with his juniors when his phone rang....he declined the call and thought of calling her later.....but as soon as he again started discussing the case again his phone rang, this time he picked it up....
K: hello Naira...I'm a little busy right now, I'll call...
He stopped hearing her voice.....

N(crying+panicking): Hello Kartik

K: Kya hua Naira tum ro kyun rahi ho aur itni panicked kyun sound kar rahi ho..?

N(crying): Kartik...woh......koyi mera peecha kar raha bohot der se main yahan ek garage mein chupi hun voh khidki se andar aane ki koshish kar raha hai....mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai....tum pls jaldi se aa jao....

Kartik got shocked listening to her...

K: Naira tum bilkul mat ghabrao....tum mujhe apni exact location send main abhi aa raha hun...

N: pls jaldi aana...

He cuts the call and immediately rushes out,takes his car and starts moving.....he was very scared for his Naira

Naira sent him her location and started praying...

Suddenly she heard the sound of some footsteps and panicked....she saw someone's shadow from under the door....the stalker was just outside the door searching for her.....

After sometime, she got very scared as that man started banging the door and tried to break it....

She was crying very hard while trying to push the door so that it does not open.....but suddenly she heard a familiar voice that made her a little relaxed....

It was Kartik's voice.....he was shouting her name.....hearing his voice she gathered some courage and started screaming 'Kartikkkkkkk....'

He heard her screams and rushed towards the source of the sound....

The stalker was jumping out of the window when Kartik came inside....unfortunately he was not able to catch him but then he moved towards the door of the washroom and banged the door calling her.

K: Naira!! Dekho main hun Kartik, tumhara dost darwaza kholo pls...

Naira immediately opened the door and hugged him.....she was crying very hard.....Kartik's heart crushed into pieces seeing her in that vulnerable state....tears made their way to his eyes as well....this was the first time in his life that he had panicked so much....in this short period of time the fear of losing his Naira his love his life had engulfed him....he hugged her very tightly and composed himself and started rubbing her back trying to calm her down, after about 10 to 15 mins he felt that she was calming down so he started caressing her hair and said.....

K: Shhhhh......Naira bas bas dekho main aa gaya hun na....chup ho jao....ab sab theek hai....

N: main bohot dar gayi thi Kartik...

K: main samajh sakta hun Naira lekin abb tumhe darne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai...main hun nah tumhare saath(he said while caressing her back)

Naira broke the hug and looked towards him, he wiped her tears.

N:Thank u Kartik....

K(interrupted her): Kaisi baatein kar rahi ho Naira....tumhe thank u bolne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai....tum meri dost ho naira, meri jaa...(he realised what he was about to say) meri bestfriend.....tumhe koi bhi thank u bolne ki zaroorat nahi hai....Haan par ek kaam kar sakti ho tum iske badle mein....

N(confused): kya??

K: smile

Naira smiled listening to him....it was as if she lost all her fears after seeing him....he too smiled seeing her smiling and they both shared a cute eye lock....

But it was disturbed by Naira's phone call....it was his father's call who was tensed after looking at all the missed calls...

She picked up the call and told him that she was alright and will tell everything after back home.

She cut the call and then:

K: Chalo abb jaldi se apne aansu poncho aur chalo main tumhe ghar drop kar deta hun.....

Naira smiled at him and went with him....

In car
Naira was looking out of the window thinking of who might be that man....and why was he after her.....what he wants.......tension was clearly visible on her face which did not went unnoticed by Kartik....

He stopped the car, made her drink water and asked her to calm down and relax. He asked her to leave this matter to him and that he would not leave him whoever he was.....concern was clearly visible in his eyes and words....

Naira just smiled seeing his concern and felt blessed to have him beside her as her bestfriend.

Kartik started the car.

Kartik POV

I know u r tensed and scared naira even I am but trust me I'll not spare him....I will kill him if he tries to hurt you. Now I will definitely catch that man and won't spare him....but first I have to make sure that u don't worry about it anymore.....now ur safety is my responsibility....and I won't let anyone come near you.

POV ends

He stops the car near her house,makes sure she has entered the house safely then goes...

Naira went inside and everyone hugged her and asked about her whereabouts...she tells them everything and they get tensed but are also thankful to Kartik....

They try to ease her and ask her to tell Kartik to come to their home tomorrow so that they can thank him to save their daughter....

Soon she left for her room but sleep was far away from her eyes.....
