Part 12

Naira was sitting near the window of her room indulged in her thoughts as she was not able to sleep.....but suddenly her phone beeped and a smile crept on her face seeing Kartik's message.

Message:

K: soo jao aur uss baare mein mat socho
N: Tumhe kaise pata ki main abhi bhi jaag rahi hun
K: pehle laga tha ki jaag rahi hogi par ab toh confirm ho gaya hai
N facepalms
N: Vaise Kartik mujhe tumse kuch puchna tha
K: Haan pucho na...
N: Vo aaj tumne meri madad ki na toh ghar pe sab tumse milkar tumhe thanks kehna chahate hain....toh kya tum kal mere ghar khaane par aa sakte ho plz??
K: Arrey isme konsi badi baat hai....main pakka aunga tumse aur tumhari family se milne.....aur ab tum so jao aur zyada mat socho....
N: ok..... goodnight
K: Goodnight😊

Naira smiled seeing his care for her...

N(to herself): Kartik kitna achcha haina mujhe bachaya, mujhe safely ghar par drop kiya, aur mujhe itne achchae se samajhta bhi hai, meri itni care bhi karta hai....

Naira lied on the bed but still couldn't get sleep as she was tensed about whatever happened today....but then she remembered Kartik, his words.....a smile crept on his face and soon she drifted to sleep...

On the other side,

K(to himself): Naira tumhe darne ki koi bhi zarurat nahi hai....main hun tumhare saath aur hamesha rahunga.....aur uss insaan ko toh amin chodunga nahi aur na hi usse dobara tumhare paas aane dunga.....I promise you Naira

Then he took Naira's pic, caressed it, kissed it and slept while hugging Naira's photo.

Next day,

Kartik went to his office as usual.....but today he was determined to find that stalker.

He was checking the cctv footage of that area....from all the places where the man was chasing Naira......but he could not make it out as that man had covered himself from top to bottom even his face was covered.....

He went through those cctv footages from cameras situated at the bus stop and near the road for like ten to fifteen times trying to find at least one clue....but of no use

Suddenly his phone started ringing....it was Naira

K: Hello Naira all ok na?....u r fine na?

N: No not ok

K: what happened.....did that man again...

N(cut him in between): Nahi nahi aisa kuch nahi hai par...tum bhul gaye na....

K: kya?

N: Tumhe kal raat ko maine apne ghar lunch pe bulaya tha na

K: oh god!! Mere toh dimag se hi nikal gaya kaam karte karte....sorry main abhi nikalta hun...ok?

N: Haan....aur jaldi se yahan aa jao sab tumhara hi wait kar rahe hain...

K: ok...bye!

N: bye!

He cuts the call and left for Singhania Sadan.

He reaches there only to find Naira at the door waiting for him....he looked pretty and he smiled seeing her, then Naira took him inside her house.

He greeted everyone and took their blessings.
Everyone liked his nature a lot. Naira's dad asked him to sit on the dining table.

Na: Kal jo bhi tumne kiya uske liye bohot bohot thank u beta.

K: Aarey uncle aap kaisi baatein kar rahe hain....pehli baat toh yeh ki main ek CBI officer hun aur dusri ki Naira meri dost hai, toh agar usse bachchane main nahi aata toh kon aata....aur aap log uss aadmi ki tension bhi mat lijiyega....yeh case main hi handle karunga aur make sure karunga ki Naira hamesha safe rahe...infact maine toh iss case pe kaam karna bhi shuru kar diya hai

A: Thank u so much beta tumne toh jaise hamari saari tension hi dur kar di.....

Then they asked him to eat the food, he looked at the dishes and his eyes widened seeing that he table was covered with his favourite dishes....
Then Naira whispered to him

N: Aise kya dekh rahe ho mendhak....maine hi sab ko keh kar tumhare favourite dishes banwayi hain...aur khud tumhare liye kachori bhi banai hai

Kartik smiled listening to her. He felt happy cuz Naira thought about him and did efforts for him and also cuz she was getting normal and was now not that scared as she was yesterday.

He took the plate and ate the Kachoris first...

K(whispers to naira): lagta hai ki aapke haath mein toh jaadu hai, itni tasty kachori...

Naira blushed and he smiled looking at her and continued eating and after sometime everyone finished eating the food and Kartik again went to his office....as he came there in lunch break

Everyone in Naira's family was very impressed by Kartik's behaviour....they all liked him.

Even Naira loved to be abke to spend time with him....she went to her room

N(to herself): yeh mendhak kitna pyaara haina....uske saath maine apne saare dar aur tension ko bhul jaati hun...bohot safe feel karti hun....aur to aur iss mendhak ne toh aatne hi pehli baar mein meri puri family ko bhi impress kar diya maanna padega isko toh.
