Part 27

D: Sry! She's no more.....

As soon as these words came out of the doctor's mouth, Kartik fell on the floor with a thud and tears rolled down his cheeks......

' No...This can't be true, Naira can't die....pls pls take ur words back...pls don't joke with me..... My my Naira can't leave me alone.....' Kartik said, not being able to handle what the doctor said.....

' I am sorry for your loss but pls try to accept it....' the doctor said and went from there leaving a shattered Kartik behind.

He was crying bitterly while the Singhania's and the Goenka's just came there as Kartik had already told them about the accident, they got extremely worried seeing Kartik crying like this and rushed to him and asked about Naira while Kartik was not able to speak anything.....

They were now getting hell worried for her and Kartik as well when the nurse came towards them and said,"pls sign these papers so that we can hand over the patient's body..."

All were confused with what she said, but then they saw a compounder coming towards them with a body lying over the streacher.....

They all were shocked when Kartik saw the body and shouted Naira's name....

Naitik: Kartik yeh kya keh rahe ho, yeh Naira nahi hai....

M: haan Kartik, yeh yeh kya chal raha hai.....

They all were trying to calm him down when he finally spoke while crying,"Naira left all of us....", shocking everyone.....

Naksh: No this can't be true..... Kartik this can't be true....

Akshara: Kartik, u might have mistaken..... This...this can't happen!!

K: I wish this wouldn't have happened (he said crying)

Next morning,

All were at SS waiting for Kartik and Naksh who had gone to bring Naira's body for her last rites.....

Everyone was shattered, Akshara fainted at the hospital itself and then others took her home while Kartik and Naksh returned back only to complete all the formalities and collect the body.....

After sometime,

Naksh and Kartik entered along with Naira's dead body while the others went towards them.

Akshara with shivering hands took the white cloth off the body's face and was shocked to see the face, it was fully burnt....she started crying badly..... Noone could hold back their tears...

Suddenly, Akshara noticed something and her facial expressions changed, then she said, "This isn't my Naira...", shocking everybody....
