Part 36

Leap of 3 weeks,

Now it has been 3 weeks since Naira's memory loss. Everyone was hoping that she will gain her memory back but now slowly they all were losing their hopes but still they were happy to see that Naira has bonded pretty well with everyone even with Kartik and his family. In this time period, even Naira realised that she loves Kartik, though she didn't remember about them being in love before her accident, still his care and affection towards her and the signals which her heart sent to her slowly made her realise her love for him and now she was thinking to propose him. She was scared to think that what if Kartik doesn't love her or what if he just considers her as a friend but still she thought whatever he feels for her, she can't hide her feelings anymore.

So, she called him and asked him to meet her at xyz place at 8 p.m., it was the same place where Kartik had proposed her earlier but this time it was going to be her confessing her love to him.

K(talking to himself after Naira called him): Why Naira is calling me to this place?? U don't even remember our memories with this place Naira, this was the place where I proposed u, it was so special for us....

He gets teary-eyed remembering the day when he proposed Naira.

K: This place has one of our most beautiful memory, I wish we could remember that beautiful day together.

He started to complete his work as he had to go there to meet Naira.

In evening,

Kartik was getting ready to meet Naira but he didn't have any idea about why Naira called him there. He got ready wearing a white shirt along with a blue suit.

On the other hand, Naira is shown wearing a pink gown, with matching sandals and some neutral makeup with open hair.

She reached the place at seven only as she wanted to make sure that all the decorations were like what she wanted.

She was instructing the people to do the decoration properly when suddenly her heart started beating faster, she turned and saw that Kartik's car was approaching, she quickly asked them to turn off the lights and go...

Meanwhile, Kartik parked his car and came there but it was all dark and no one could be seen there...

K: yahan toh koi bhi nahi hai...address toh yahi tha.

He turned to leave but suddenly the lights turned on and rose petals started showering on him, he remembered when he did the same for Naira, his heart thudded louder in his chest as his eyes fell on her who was coming towards him, looking all pretty and a million-dollar smile adorning her angelic face.

He was left spellbound with her beauty and was not saying a word until Naira shook him, bringing him out of his world.

K: What is all this Naira? Why u called me here?

N blushed

K who noticed it asked her again....

Naira just took a rose in her hand and bend on her one knee and said smiling

N: I love u Kartik! I love u! I don't know how and why this happened but I am very sure that I am truly and madly in love with you. U mean the world to me. The way you care for me, make me your priority, I feel so special and loved. I feel the most comfortable and special with u and most importantly I am myself when I am with u cuz I know that I can share all my feelings with u and you will never judge me. The way u treat me, your small yet cute gestures towards me made me fall for u, I don't know whether u love me or just consider me as ur friend but I truly love u Kartik! I love u!!

Kartik was left flabbergasted after her confession, he never felt so lucky. After almost losing his love, he got it back, he felt as if he got a new life. His eyes became teary after thinking how lucky he is.

He immediately bent to her level and hugged her as tight as he could, not leaving any gap in between them.

'I love u too Naira! I always have and always will, till my last breath! I love u!! Thank u for loving me and coming to me as an angel who taught me the meaning of love...I love u!!'
He said while tears coming from his eyes, not of sorrow but of contentment, of satisfaction and of joy after getting the love of his life back.....

Even Naira had tears of happiness in her eyes. They both were holding each other very tightly, not even allowing air to pass between their bodies. After some time, Kartik broke the hug, cupped her face and kissed on her forehead and then helped her to get up. Naira then gave him the rose she had in her hand and he smiled and took it.

Then they both started to move towards the table that was set by Naira, it was full of Kartik's favourite dishes with kachoris made by Naira, kept in the centre.

Kartik smiled as he remembered that he did the same things for her.

K(in mind+ smiling) : kitna ajeeb hai na pehle yeh sab maine Naira ke liye kiya tha aur abb uske memory loss ke base voh yeh sab mere liye kar rahi hai.

N: Kya soch rahe ho?

He shook his head and saying, "Nothing! Come let's eat!"

They both started feeding the Kachoris to each other while chit-chatting and laughing, sharing some cute and memorable moments.

Later they went to their respective houses after spending some time together.
