I wrote this fanfiction a very long time ago, it must be nearly ten years ago now. So I thought I'd dust it off and retell this story, it will be nice reliving it again. I wanted to write about the Wammy House, the school always interested me.

I first remember reading Another Note, I immediately took a shining to Beyond Birthday a.k.a BB or Backup. I love the anime series too, it's still holds its own until this very day.

-I don't own Death Note.

-My laptop charger decided to die on me - I'm sorry for any spelling errors and silly mistakes.

-Thank you for the reviews, faves and alerts!

-This opening chapter is from my oc Elizabeth's point of view, my writing style will change after this chapter.

Enjoy!

Chapter 1!

Introduction

Opening Chapter.

Yesterday was a fun day, I got to go on my very first train ride with my Mummy's best friends Bella. The train journey was magical, I managed to crawl underneath the passager seats and I even found pen in the toilet on the train. We had packed lunches for our dinner, but I don't like the tomatoes on my sandwiches though. I stuffed them down the side of one of seats when Bella wasn't looking, she didn't notice which is a good thing.

Bella had explained to me that I was moving to a town called Winchester, I'll be living with my great aunt Thora and her housekeeper from now on. My Mummy had passed away over a month ago, she's in heaven now. I'm sad about leaving my old home in Oxford, but my Mummy always use to tell that the best kind of adventures were the one's farthest away from home. But I really do miss my Mummy, I miss her hugs and eskimo kisses. She told me the most exciting bedtime stories about fluffy bunny rabbits with golden magical whiskers.

A lady called Rose Morrissey had met us at Winchester train station, she's my Great Aunt's housekeeper. She seems like a nice lady, she likes wearing her dark red hair up in bun and she also wears round glasses. She had given me a welcome home present, it was a small basket of biscuits and pink plastic flowers.

The hardest part was saying goodbye to Bella, I wasn't allowed to live with her because she wasn't a blood relative. Bella had brought me a shark snapper toy before she caught another train back to Oxford, it's really cool. She told me to be brave, she promised to write to me every month and ring me on special occasions.

Rose ordered us a taxi from the train station after Bella caught her train back to Oxford, it was a really long drive to my Great Aunt's cottage. Rose had told me that my Aunt's cottage was far out in the countryside, apparently my aunt didn't like receiving many visitors. I'm kind of nervous about meeting her, what if she doesn't like me? She may put me in an orphanage or send me back to Oxford, I'm dreading our meeting.

The taxi arrived at the cottage at 5:55pm, It was getting dark. I didn't really get a good look at the cottage, but I could smell freshly mowed grass. There was a couple of little stone faeries near a tree holding pretty butterfly lanterns, their shadows danced on the truck of the tree. I never got a chance to meet my Aunt Thora last night, she was busy with a business meetings in the lounge. Rose had told me she was having evening tea with gentleman caller from a local orphanage. Rose informed me that my aunt donated money to different charities at the beginning of every year, it was a noble act of kindness.

Rose had woken me up at 7:30am, she wanted me to get into a routine before I started my home schooling lessons in the next couple of days. I did ask why I couldn't go to a normal school, but she told me it was an hours journey to the nearest school from the cottage. My Aunt Thora had already arranged for me to be home schooled, she had planned everything before my arrival.

" Elizabeth! Breakfast is being serviced!" Rose called from the kitchen downstairs. " Hurry up before your toast gets cold, I will not reheat your food!"

" Give me a minute!" Elizabeth replied.

" Wash your hands and scrub your nails!" Rose yelled, her voice was cheerful. " We like clean hands at our breakfast table!"

" Yes, Rose!" Elizabeth yelled.

Getting up from my chair in front of the dressing table I looked at my reflection in the mirror, Rose told me to dress smartly for my first meeting with my great aunt. She told me that first impressions were important, she was probably right. I chose my long-sleeved grey dress with some matching buckled shoes, then some white tights to hide my bruised knees. Rose had already tied my hair up into a ponytail for me, I was hopeless with hairstyles.

" Elizabeth!" Rose called once again from the kitchen downstairs. " Come on now my love, your breakfast is on the table!"

" Okay Rose, I'm coming now!" Elizabeth replied.

Taking one last look at my refection in the mirror I took my white headband from the dressing table and carefully put it on. I was now ready to met my aunt, there was no turning back. This was it, I just hope she likes me.
