I want to wear his initial

On a chain round my neck

Not because he owns me

But 'cause he really knows me

The rest of the week went pretty similarly. We spent a lot of time at his apartment, I only went home about twice the whole week. Friday night after a fancy dinner, Mason took me back to his place, so we could exchange gifts. He and Max were both leaving tomorrow afternoon for home. My Uncle would be coming later that night.

"You look so pretty babe," Mason smiled stroking my hair lightly.

"Thanks," I blushed.

"Come on let's exchange gifts," Mason smiled. He had been excited about his gift all week, which made me nervous. I was horrible at gift-giving. Mason opened his gift first. I had gotten him a framed photo of us from thanksgiving with a note written on the back.

"I love it," Mason grinned after reading the note. He gave me a kiss before handing me a small wrapped box. I opened it to reveal a gold necklace with an M charm. I grinned touching it lightly.

"I remembered there was that one Taylor Swift song where she sings about wanting to wear his initial on a chain around her neck because he really knows her. I know I don't know everything about you, but I want to," he grinned kissing my cheek.

"Oh Mason," I smiled. "I love it so much."

"I love you," Mason smiled.

"Help me put it on," I smiled turning so he could clasp it around my neck. He kissed my cheek gently after clasping the necklace and then I turned to connect our lips. I turned to straddle his lap and he let out a moan as my hips met his. My fingers frantically worked to unbutton Mason's shirt. When I got it off I ran my hands up his toned abs grinding against his growing hard-on.

"Is this okay?" Mason asked touching the hem of my shirt. I nodded helping him get the shirt over my head. Once he got the shirt off, he flipped us, so I was laying on my back and he was hovering over me.

"You're beautiful babe," he said before kissing down my neck and touching my stomach lightly. I blushed, but it felt good to be called beautiful, especially by someone I loved. As Mason's fingers moved to my waistband I touched his hand gently.

"Mason," I whispered feeling my cheeks heat up as I squeezed my eyes shut.

"What's wrong love? Want me to stop?" He asked his hands instantly moving to my face.

"No, I just... I'm a virgin," I whispered feeling embarrassed by my lack of experience.

"Okay," Mason nodded. "We can wait until your ready babe."

"I'm ready now. I'm just I don't know..." I said feeling my face turn red.

"Maria, open your eyes and look at me," he said touching my cheeks gently. I obliged finding him watching me with worry. "Talk to me babe."

"I just wanted you to know because I'm not going to be good and I know you've done it with a lot more experienced people and I'm scared that you aren't going to love me anymore and I'm scared it's going to hurt and..."

"Maria, love, I swear to you, I will never stop loving you," he said kissing my lips lightly. "I've never been in a real relationship, but already I can tell that no matter what, having sex with you will be the best sex I've had because I am so in love with you. If you're not ready today, I don't want to push you."

"I'm ready, I just want you to go slow," I whispered.

"Okay," he nodded stroking my cheek. "I love you so much and you have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. If you want me to stop all you have to do is tell me."

"Okay," I nodded letting his lips land on mine. I laid back down letting his hands wander back to my waistband.

Mason

Almost as soon as we finished Maria had passed out in my arms. I hated knowing I was the reason she was in pain. She had tried to hide it, but I saw the tears building in her eyes. I saw the way her nose scrunched and her breath hitched. As I watched her sleep next to me, I couldn't help but think I was one of the luckiest men on earth. She was stunning. I brushed my fingers gently over her freckled shoulders. She had a thin frame and near-perfect skin. She had a few scars, which I figured were from her many adventures before we had met. I lightly kissed the mole on her back.

I had often heard that being with someone you loved was so much better than any random hook-up, but I hadn't believed it. Now looking at Mariasleeping below me, I knew it was true. I could spend the rest of my life memorizing every part of Maria. Every tiny mark and crevice. She was perfect and I could go just as slowly and just as carefully every night and I would never have enough.

"Mason?" She whispered softly turning her naked frame to face me.

"Yeah babe?" I asked stroking her hair gently.

"Will you hold me? I'm cold," she mumbled.

"Sure love," I replied feeling my heart flutter as I pulled her against my chest.

"Do you still love me?" She asked groggily against my chest. I knew she was only half awake, but the phrase broke my heart.

"I love you more than you could ever know," I answered kissing her forehead and scratching her scalp lightly. She fell asleep seconds later, her breathing slow and rhythmic. It eventually lulled me to sleep as well.
