I've found time can heal most anything

A week after my horrible date I went to a Kesem party and woke up the next morning hungover. I was laying on the couch with a cool cloth covering my forehead when Mason and Max walked through the door.
"Maria, are you sick?" Mason asked worriedly and I watched Max roll his eyes.
"Shhh," I said closing my eyes. "I'm hungover."
"I love hungover Maria almost as much as I love drunk Maria," Max laughed and I cringed.
"Mason, will you please make me a cup of tea?" I asked making a pouting face.
"Sure," Mason nodded disappearing from the room.
"You have him so whipped," Max laughed sitting on the lounge chair. He threw the pillow with the Taylor Swift quote onto the ground.
"Be gentle with that," I frowned.
"I can't believe you put a Taylor Swift pillow in our living room. The room that I watch football in," Max said shaking his head.
"Don't disrespect Taylor," I giggled.
"You're ridiculous," Max said shaking his head. "How much did you drink last night?"
"I don't know," I said rubbing my forehead as Mason came back into the room. "We were playing never have I ever, but you had to drink if you hadn't done it and you both know I haven't done shit."
"Oh we know," Max laughed as Mason sat me up and placed my mug in the shape of a cat into my hands.
"Thanks," I said taking a sip.
"Did you at least have fun?" Mason asked sitting next to me. He had become a comfort to have around. I always felt warmer when he was in the apartment.
"Yeah, I always have fun," I smiled. "I'm not having fun getting sober, but last night was fun. How was your night? Neither one of you was here when I came home."
"We went to the bar and then I went home with some girl who bit my tongue when we kissed and Mason went home like loser," Max answered. "It was a great time."
"I hate the bar," Mason said rolling his eyes.
"Maybe I should come to the bar with you," I grinned. "I would love to see Max work his magic and I've been told I'm pretty fun to be around."
"Let's go tonight," Max smirked. "You can be sober tomorrow."
"Okay," I grinned. "That actually sounds like fun."

That night I was sitting on the couch waiting for Maria as Max groaned about women taking forever to get ready. Suddenly the Taylor Swift from her bedroom stopped playing. "I'm coming," Maria yelled from her bedroom, and seconds later she appeared in a pair of flared jeans and a lowcut top. She had on a pair of heeled boots and a big smile on her face.
"It took you that long to put that on?" Max asked crossing his arms.
"You know nothing about women," Maria said rolling her eyes.
"Well I know how to make a woman cum from any position, so try and tell me that again," Max smirked as Maria scrunched her nose her face turning a cute shade of pink. She was adorable, but at the same time, I knew that if she knew the things I had done, she wouldn't want anything to do with me.
