Elijah and his brother Klaus were looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July with a huge ball. Everything was going perfectly.
But then Elijah finds out his girlfriend cheated on him. And Klaus, who was enjoying his life as a womanizer...
It was finally time for the big party. Caroline and Jenna had done everything in their power to make it awesome. And they definitely succeeded.
Bonnie and Enzo had agreed to having the party at their place, since it was a nice house with a pretty garden. There was a big table in the garden, a buffet in the room between the kitchen and the garden and soft music giving the party a relaxed and happy atmosphere.
Caroline was, naturally, the first one who arrived and helped with the preparations. Having Jenna, Alaric, Damon and Enzo there to help her while Bonnie kept an eye on Jesse made it an easy and fast process. They were finished setting it up within half an hour.

Once they were, Enzo called out to his wife to come and see the results. Bonnie looked at her garden and smiled. "It looks amazing, guys! You did a great job."
"We sure did, Bonbon. I expect a medal in return, at least. Oh, and some of your chocolate doughnuts, since we're at it." Damon replied.
Rolling her eyes, Bonnie ignored him and continued. "We decided to close the Café for today, so that both Lexi and Cami can come. They'll be here any second."
And they were. Since Lexi was giving Cami a ride, they even arrived together, shortly after Stefan, Valerie and Klaus who brought Hope with him.
Caroline beamed at the sight of her boyfriend and his daughter and walked over to them. Klaus greeted her with a kiss. "Hello love. I hope we're not too late."
She shook her hed, chuckling. "No, you're not. I'm so happy you two could make it. Would you like something to eat? Come on, I'll show you the buffet."
Meanwhile, Damon was standing at the buffet, contemplating the sight in front of him. Lexi and Cami walked up to him.
"The main question here is: what the hell was Stefan thinking bringing a bottle of my favourite bourbon to this party!?! And place it right in the front too!? I mean, okay, he's obviously trying to send me back to rehab, but this seems a bit over the top." he said. Then, he turned to the two blonde women next to him. "Is it just me or is my baby brother making fun of me?"
"It's just you. But since you mentioned it, I want some bourbon. Let's see if your taste is worth existing." Cami replied with a grin before taking the bourbon away from Damon and walking away with it. Damon shook his head. Lexi smirked.
Caroline introduced her new boyfriend to Bonnie, Enzo and their son who was playing with Hope.
"Well isn't he a fine young man! Hello mate! I see you're getting along with my little girl." Klaus addressed Jesse.
"She's a cute girl. But what about her mother?" Enzo asked.
Caroline scoffed. "Please, Enzo, let's not ruin this beautiful day by mentioning that one!"
Enzo shared a glance with his wife before looking back to Caroline and Klaus, eyebrows raised.
"Does that answer your question?" Klaus mouthed to him. Enzo grinned and made a gesture with his hands that said 'isn't it obvious'.
