Okay, so I was going back on my stories and realised that most of the chapters are only like 3 pages. 3 PAGES!! I feel so bad. That's like...so short. I am so sorry! I will try to get them to a sufficient length. Again, I am so sorry! - Zehelnyx

Ash hopped up onto the bench, looking at me. "So Masky, what IS your relationship with Night? Just curious.

"I don't mind. Her father... you know, Slenderman, wanted to see how she was doing, so he sent me to the human realm, for about a month. I was to watch over her for that time."

"Oh, I see." She started to twitch.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yes. I am fine. Just a bit cold."

"Well, you should go back to where you were, so you don't freeze to death." I replied.

"What about you?" Ash said, scouling.

I chuckled. "I don't want to intrude, so I'll just go somewhere else."

"No, no, you can't do that. Please, come with me. I'm sure that Night would have done the same thing. Please." Ash pleaded.

She looked so scared, of going alone. "Okay, I will go with you." I got up off of the bench. "Lead the way."

"Yay! Thank you Masky!" Ash said as she jumped of of the bench, and started to trot down the street.

"Um, Ash?" I asked, and she stopped to face me. "I feel as though you just...didn't want to go alone, back to where you lived with Night. Was that right?"

She nodded. "Yes, I admit. You can't blame me though. I've been taken in, and thrown away. To many times. I can't handle it anymore."

Yes, I knew the feeling. ANd I didn't want to go through it again. I sighed. "No, you're right Ash, but you are no longer going to be thrown away. Night will make sure of that, so let's go."

"Thank you," Ash replied.

There was very little talking as I followed Ash to the place she and Night had stayed. When we finally stopped, I was standing in the front of an abandonded house. It was very old and rickity, possiby made in the 60's, but when I stepped into the house, I was surprised. The rooms looked so modern. Except the stairs. They were falling apart, and one step was even split in two.

The kitchen was tiled, countertops made of marble and glass. Everything looked so new. Huh? I looked to my left, to see on the table a notebook and pencil. I couldn't help myself, and I looked inside. It held poems and stories, drawings and music, journal entries and more. Almost every page was full.

Ash came into the kitchen, looking a bit of scared, and a bit of curiousness. "Everyday, late at night, she would come here and write in it. For hours even. She would talk to herself, write somethings down in the book, and she woulld walk over to me when she thought I was sleeping. Petting my fur and talking to me. It was mostly  on how I should let her check my leg, or how she felt. She had even talked about her past sometimes, from what she remembered."

We sat there for a minute. Silence. Ash looked at her paws as I continued to flip through the notebook. Some of the pages were slightly wrinkled, and the ink was stained. I then realised that it was from tears. Night had cried when she wrote this segment. I looked at the page and realised why. SHe had wrote about Tomi.

I closed the book, not wanting to invade her privacy any longer. "Ash," I said. "What did you do? I mean after Night was kidnapped?"

"I stayed here, but I was out, looking for her most of the time." She awnsered. "I was scared, scared of being alone. Again. I didn't want to be left again, especially by Night. I grew to like...love Night, and her company."

"Yeah." I replied. "I can understand that." I sighed. Where should I start? What would I do?

"We'll work together." Ash said, inturupting my thoughts. "Sorry, sorry. I did it again."

"It's okay." I said chuckling. We stayed up for about an hour...well Ash did. I sat up, reading through the notebook. She had pages and pages of writings, drawings, and pictures. It was almost full. I flipped back to the first page, where ont eh cover it had said  "Notebook #7"... and there, was a picture. This time, unlike the rest, was taped. It was us. Night and I, when we were still in the hospital. She looked happy. I smiled.

"Okay," I said aloud. "Night, I will find you. I promise." At that moment, I felt a pain in my heart. I felt like she had awnsered me. I walked over to get the files. Maybe something is in there. Just maybe.
