[Slenderman P.O.V.]
Maeve's eyes slowly closed, but before she drifted off she said, "I love you."
I love you too, I thought.
Slowly, I walked towards a room at the end of the hall. I checked if it was open, which it was. No one was in, but a couch with a protective wrapping was placed in the corner. I walked over and began to remove them.
Once I was done, I placed Maeve onto it, carful not to wake her. She squirmed and mumbled something but fell quiet. Slowly standing back up, I walked out into the hallway. I was met by Masky, Hoodie, and Ash.
"Sir?" Masky asked, waiting for my command.
Yes. Please retrieve a blanket for Maeve. Hoodie, could you do that? He nodded and walked off. You two, could we talk somewhere private? They both look at each other before turning to me, nodding.
"Follow me," the dog, Ash, said. I wonder where she got her ability to speak. She did seem oddly familiar though. She took us both to the kitchen which was on the other side of the house. Boy, the house sure is big. Before we reached it, however, Hoodie came to me with a blanket. I asked to place it on Maeve and he left.
How is Sally? I never thought about her till now. She was there when Maeve broke down.
"She was shaken up but once Ash came to her side she fell asleep. She sold be fine for now. Thankfully, I don't think she heard the last part of what Miss Maeve said."
That's good. And you guys?
"Ah," Masky said. "I, I was shocked by what Miss Maeve said, but I think that Night is strong enough to make it through.
Ash spoke up after. "I...I think Masky is right. She's strong."
I suppose, but even the strongest break.
Again, they both looked at each other then smiled. Does that dog also have telepathy? "Well," they said in unison. "We'll just have to rescue her before that happens."
I was curious now. Dog...Ash? Do you have telepathy?
She looked up at me. Yes. I was quite suprised. Not many being's can get a level as high as me; but she has, if not surpassed it.
Who taught you?
"Your father," she replied, then turned to show me a half circle with a line through it. "I'm an unwanted child." She snickered. "But not to Night."
Unwanted? My father?
"He disowned us. Long story, really." Ash paused and Masky placed his hand on her head. "Anyway," she finished. "Please contine"
Of course. You both heard Maeve, right? I awaited their response before they both nodded. We need to gather some of the others. We don't know what we're in for. To be honest, I don't know we'll be able to get there.
There was silence. It felt like it had lasted for years, but only to be seconds. "Yes sir!" Masky then replied before turning heel and walking away, Ash following him.
I stood there thinking before Hoodie came walking into the room. Yes? What is it?
"Sir...sir. miss Maeve has wok...woken. She... she wishes to see you."
Thank you Hoodie. I will go now.
A/N: Wow! 6 chapers without a Night pov. I hope you guys are okay with it. I remember someone saying that there were too many Night pov and I also though the same. Now, I feel like she died or something. I might put her pov soon, but who knows. Hope you liked the chapter. Please, comment what you thought.
Bye bye!
