P.s. Yeah I remember what happened in chapter 3.

[Hoodie p.o.v]

"Masky?"

The man looked up. His face showed, a mask. His mask. Masky. It was Masky! I ran out of the trees, ecstatic to see you. He turned to me hearing my fast footsteps. Noticing me, he spoke. I could hear the shock in his voice.

"Hoodie? Wh...what are you doing here?"

I didn't awnser. I ran into him, wrapping my arms around his strong built, yet fragile body. He tensed up, but soon relaxed, putting his arms over my shoulders. We stood there for what I felt was so short, but must have been minutes. I opened my eyes and Jack and Slenderman was standing next to us, confused. I pulled out of our embrace. "S...sorry. I don't know what I was thinking."

"Hoodie? You can talk? Since when?" Masky said, surprised and shocked the same. Jack as well. No one had ever heard me, except Slenderman and my parents.

I blushed, though no one could see it. I was thankful in that moment. I just nodded. I was relieved when Slenderman had interrupted the conversation.

Yes. He can, told me since he was born. Anyway, he can speak about this later. The matter is, Night is still missing. And there are no clues. We need to group up.

"Wait," Masky said. "Group? What do you mean?"

"Everyone is in the human realm, smart one" Jack said. "We are staying in an alley, over by that market place."

"Why?" Masky paused. "Even Sally?"

"Yup."

"That w...won't do. Come with me. You'll have more shelter, a...and beds, food." he replied.

Where are you staying?

Masky turned to Slenderman. "An abandoned house. Where Night stayed."

Everyone grew tense. How do you know Night stayed there? Slenderman demanded.

The masked man stepped back, cowering in fear. "S...she, Ash. She rescued Ash. She told m...me.

"She told you?" Jack interrupted. "You found her?"

"N..no. Well yes. No." He hung his head. "Both. I found her. On the streets on day. She was being pulled into a car, by a man. I called for her, and, and chased the car. I lost it after I got on 38.5th Avenue. It was like they...the car just disappeared. I'm sorry."

"Why was she kidnapped?" Eyeless Jack said.

Did you see who the person looked like? Anything?

Masky was in a deep thought. "Yes, he...he was tall," he looked to Slenderman. "Like you. The man wore a cloak and hat, but was tanned. That's all I could see from where...where I was."

That man. I have a feeling on who did this. First, let's gather everyone. Jack? Can you lead?

"Yeah. Come on."

We walked for about ten minutes, all while I clung to Masky. He didn't bother to ask why. He knew. We were close, and suddenly he leaves. He knew I was scared. "It's okay." He would say as he patted my head. His words reassured me. I could always trust him.

It was wierd. Ever since I came to the mansion, I seemed to belong somewhere. Like I was needed. Masky made me feel that way. I remember the first time I met them, I was only seven. I would walk in the forest, to get away from my parents torment. I guess in I was a normal person, people would call someone do help. But I'm not normal.

[FLASHBACK]

"Excuse me?" someone said from behind. Recently, there had been someone following me as I walked through the forest. Finally, I would be able to confront the person. I turned around. It was far from what I had expected.

There was a boy, about my age, and a man. Well, a being. I recalled that I read about him, from taking a book from my mother's study. It wad full of myths and legends. He was called The Tree Man. It wad said he preyed on children. I was not afraid of that, thinking my parents were worse.

I turned around. Are you the one who has been following me during my walks, I thought.

Yes, I heard. From where, I didn't know. I looked at the two, confused. Sorry, the tall being said, raising his hand. That would be me. I can read your mind. We would like your help. He said, gesturing to himself and the boy.

My head instinctively tilted in curiosity. Why?

You see boy, the faceless man said. I have a child, and a mansion full of...he paused. Guests. I need help with my business, errands and such. It's hard, trying to do everything at once.

I stood there, confused and quite happy. Someone, somebody needed my for something. I was shocked as well. Why me?

The young boy then spoke. "Please, will you help us." His voice, it fit him. Well I wouldn't really know, since I don't know him, I thought. Why the mask though?

So child, will you come us us? If you do, you will never see your family or friends again. You can choose, the tall, no-faced man said.

It's not like I had a good family anyway. Not like I had any friends. Who'd miss me?

Well then, Masky, will you allow him to be friends with you?

The boy jumped in glee. "Yes, sir. I would be happy to." 'Masky' ran to me. "I hope we get along well. I...I have a feeling we will." I could feel him smile through his words.

I fell in love with him, immediately after.

"Hoodie? Hoodie?" I heard. "You all right? " I snapped out of my thoughts. Masky had said that. I nodded. "We are here."
