The Abandoned House

I finally convinced her to calm down. I put her in my arms and started to walk to the abandoned house. I teleported the rest of the way when she fell asleep in my arms. She looked very tired. Well so would I if I had to fend for myself again with a hurt leg. We got to the house and I set her on a pile of blankets. She wimpered a bit then went back to sleep. I decided that i would wake her when the foood was put away and i had something for her to eat. I put the food away and hoped we still had electricity. Yup. Though I don't know how there is still electricity in this place, but i'm not complaining.

So i grabbed the plug in hot plate and started cooking a can of soup and 2 grilled one month out of date cheeze. When it was done i woke up the dog and gave it a bowl of soup and hand fed the grilled cheeze. At first she was scared and hesitant towards the food but gave in three minutes later. I gave her a piece and she limped to the other end of the room. After 1/2 the sandwitch was gone she started to stay and eat. She still looked hungry when her grilled cheeze was gone so i gave her mine. After eating she went back to the pile of blankets and was falling asleep. I thought what a better time than this. I walked upstairs to get the aid kit...yeah somehow I had to be prepared for this. Went back downstairs and sat down next to Ash. I put my handon her and strocked her ears. She opened her eyes then shut them again,like she was fine with that...THAT. After about 5 minutes of petting her I went down to her injured leg. She felt my hand and probably thought thatt I was going to hurt her so she ran across the room and up the stairs. "Fine but we both know that you need to get that fixed. The sooner the better."

The next night we had apples and more grilled cheeze. Well I had the apple and Ash had the grilled cheeze. I have to go to the store soon, we're running out of food. I looked in the kitchen and all we had left was bread and an apple. So after Ash fell asleep I thought of going to the store. I decided I would try to sneak out so I grabbed the 20 and left for the door. When I opened itto go Ash's head shot up and she ran to me like she depended on it. I bent down and scrached her ear. "Ash I'm just going to the store, ill be back." I decided that after she calmed down I would go find something to tie up to her tagless colar so she doesn't run off and get hurt agian. It took me 10 minutes buti did it. I went through the whole house but only found one...that was in use. The rope was around the head of the current and dead owner of the house. Yay, I get to touch a rotting corpse. My favorite. I got the rope off and tied it around Ash. I walked out the door, Ash following.

When we got to the store I tied her to a post in the ally. "Sorry, but dogs aren't allowed. I'll be back though, I promise." She must have understood because she lied down and looked at me with the eyes of a dog that had been told that promise and wasn't kept. She looked like she would hunt me down if I didn't. I chuckled and promised again that I would be back in 15 minutes. When I left down to the store I heard a voice, "Yeah, I've heard that before. And I always will."
