BRIA SLICED THROUGH VINES, the boys following her closely. "This will be a breeze once we get the Galder Stones!" She says.
"What can the Galder Stones actually do?" Gus asks curiously.
"If you're holding one, any spell you cast gets a big power boost!" Matt explains, punching the air to emphasize his point.
"I can grow an entire forest! And make my own butterfly sanctuary!" Aangnar says, a small butterfly landing on the tip of his finger.
"I could create the biggest abomination ever!" Gavin gushes, sighing dreamily. "I bet dad would pay attention to that." He mumbles, clenching his fists.
"Woah." Gus chuckles.
Matt smirks. "Sorry. Doesn't do squat for illusions. Can't enhance what's not actually there." He lightly shoves Gus.
Gus lightly shoves him back. "Pfft, I know that." Matt shoves him again, and then they engage in a small slap fight.
"Hold up, guys." Bria interrupts, gazing up at the large thorns blocking their paths. "We've come to our first challenge."
Matt smirks once again, shoving Gus. "Show us what you've got, Augustus. What did the hybrid call you? A 'super witch'?" Matt snickered demeaningly.
Bria skips over, unknowingly saving Gus. "That's a great idea!" Bria smiles gently, grabbing Gus's hand and patting it lightly. "Go on, Gus. I know you can do it."
Gus approaches the large thorns and discreetly pulls out a glyph. He raises a brow at the glyph, not remembering which one it was. "Which one is this?" He mumbles. Nervously, he looks back before casting a spell circle. "Fireball!" He slaps the glyph between his hands and fires it through the center of the blue circle. It destroys the vines, clearing a path for them.
The others gasp, before cheering for Gus, thrilled and impressed at his magic. The others run past, and Bria grabs his shoulders.
"I knew it was a good idea to bring you!" She cheered, running off with the others.
"I don't know what's going on, but I've got my eyes on you." Matt threatens, walking past Gus with narrowed eyes.
