You mated?! pt.2

Jimin felt like throwing up in worry as he opened the door to his hut. He knew his dad would be out hunting at this hour, so for now, he was happy to have only his mother to confront. He took a deep breath before stepping into the house.

-WHERE WERE YOU?!
came the immediate yell of his mother.

She was right in front of him. Her hands on her hips and a deep frown on her face that showed just how angry but still worried she was. Her eyes were red and Jimin thought she looked just about to cry.

- I'm very sorry mom. I know what I did was wron-

-Wrong?! You were gone for almost more than a week. Left during the night at that! We all thought you'd never ce back! We searched everywhere! Even into that goddamn forest you like so much! We thought you were dead for God's sake!

Jimin let himself fall on his knees, bowing fully to his mother as he let out a pitiful "sorry" that had his mother huffing.

- Enough of your apologies, now come here and tell me where you were, what you did, and why you didn't care to tell us!
She exclaimed as she pointed to the chairs in their small living room.

Jimin did as told immediately. He took a seat in one of the chairs and waited for his mother to do the same. As she sat down, his mother urged him to speak with her hand and a frown still very much present in her face.

- I- well I may as well start by the beginning of it all...

His mother's serious expression was intimidating, but he knew he had to tell the truth. He knew that was his only choice if he wanted to see the end of it.

- a while ago, I started having dreams about a certain alpha.

Just at that, his mother's expression soured.

- I-in my dreams, I would see this alphas whole life from when he was a pup 'til now. It would go really fast but I'd see and understand everything. It was a really sad life. It was an alpha that was abandoned as a pup, and that grew up on his own, having to survive by himself and hunt even when no one taught him. He grew up to never trust anyone and bad people often attacked him for no reason, thus he had to learn how to fight too. Now, every time he comes across someone, he doesn't analyze the situation well and immediately thinks they want to hurt him, so he doesn't hesitate and attacks them. But the surprising information in that, is that, unlike what you'd think, he never killed anyone. That was in my dreams at first. And I think from that story you can tell which alpha I was dreaming about.

His mother's gaze was darker as she sighed for him to continue.

- So, I started having these dreams every night and there's also something I didn't tell you...at the end of the dreams, I would see a scene of him going to attack someone. It was like I was watching from a couple of meters away. When he would go to attack that person, I'd yell at him to stop, and when he'd hear me, he immediately walk back from the person he was trying to attack. He'd turn back in human form and fall on his knees while looking at me with...golden eyes...and I did the same.

At that, he heard his mother gasp loudly and a look of realization crossed her face. She looked like she was panicking internally, but she still signed for him to continue. The memory of her son asking what golden eyes meant a while ago hitting her in the face like a brick.

- these dreams would become more and more intense every time and there's one thing that I knew, it's that all I was seeing really happened in real life. As they were becoming more intense, I had a really hard time sleeping and I ended up so exhausted that I decided I wanted to go see if he was really there, in the forest. To see if he really looked like in my dreams. I just wanted it to stop and so I talked about it to Taehyung. He was very hard to convince but I ended up bringing him with me to the fore-

- You did what?!
The fiery expression on her face was giving him goosebumps.

- please let me continue mom.

His mother huffed angrily and nodded.

- we went to the forest, and everything was like in my dreams. The forest was exactly the same, so we went where I always saw the alpha at the end of the dream. He wasn't there but as soon as Taehyung touched my shoulder and told me it wasn't gonna happen, we heard him. He jumped out of the trees and was about to attack Taehyung when I yelled at him to stop. He did. He listened to me and from then on everything happened like in the dreams. He walked back and dropped to his knees at the same time as me, and our eyes turned golden. After that, he looked at me shyly a couple of times but ended up running away from us. The dreams started to change from then on, they became beautiful, enjoyable, lov-loving.

At that word, his mother's face finally softened a bit. She knew what her son was telling her was important and she knew that he couldn't control his feelings in a situation like this.

- I started wanting to go back because I felt like he was calling me through our bond, I felt like he wanted to see me too. And so I convinced Taehyung to go back. We went to the same place again, and this time, unlike the first, instead of trying to attack Taehyung, he jumped on top of me as if to protect me from Tae.
Jimin couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the memory of his favorite big lump of fur trying to protect him from an inoffensive alien.

His mother's face softened even more as she heard this part.

- I ended up calming him down easily and we talked for a bit. His name is Jungkook. And he too, was having dreams about me. He was a bit scared at first because he didn't know what they meant, but when he saw me he knew he he had nothing to be afraid of. That's what he told me. He was very shy at first, which is surprising coming from an alpha. He was adorable. From this day, me and Tae knew he wasn't the slightest bit dangerous to me, and so I went back to the forest almost every night to see him. He was very sweet to me and we became closer with time. We learned more about each other and I was the most comfortable when around him. A week or so ago, I went back at his hut to see him, but I was feeling really hot and a bit dizzy. I- um my first heat was about to start, and I decided to spend it with him. I know it was a bit rushed and reckless to make that decision, but I also knew I was making the right choice for some reason. That's why I wasn't there. I couldn't warn you because I didn't know I was going into heat until he told me. Also...
Jimin stopped speaking and bared his mating mark to her.

She let out a shriek of surprise that had Jimin jumping in his seat.

- You're mated?!

Jimin nodded softly and even through the situation, he felt proud to say it.

- Listen now Jimin. I hear what you say and I understand. I know you can't change the fact that you two are true mates and I accept it. And if being with him makes you happy, then so be it, but please...never do something like that again. We were so worried for you. And for you and jun-Jungkook you said? I know your father won't like it at all. I know he'll be furious. But we'll try to make it work Allright?

Jimin let out a deep breath he didn't realize he was holding. He let himself fall forward to hug his mother tightly.
