The Scepter

A few months later. Sokovia. HYDRA BASE. 

We were all running through the woods, fighting soldiers. 

Tony "Shit!"

Cap " Language! JARVIS, what's the view from upstairs?"

JARVIS" The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken."

Thor knocked an agent out next to me "Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last."

Nat ""At long last" is lasting a little long, boys."

Clint "Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise."

Tony "Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said "language?""

Cap " I know. It just slipped out."

Tony "Ey, sis, you gonna help me break in?"

I nodded "of course, little brother"

Then i flew in the air and looked around, confused "where the hell are you?"

Cap "Language"

I rolled my eyes "i didn't even say anything bad"

Suddenly i was grabbed and pulled along. 

Tony "Gotcha"

I rolled my eyes annoyed "as-"

Tony "no no no no, sh, no bad words"

I rolled my eyes. 

Cap "Stark, we really need to get inside."

Tony "I'm closing in. JARVIS, am I...closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?"

JARVIS" There's a particle wave below the north tower."

Stark "Great, I wanna poke it with something. "

Then he blew up the forcefield the base "Drawbridge is down, people."

Nat "Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac."

Thor " Find the scepter. "

Tony "And for gosh sake, watch your language!"

Steve sighed "That's not going away anytime soon."

We stepped into the base. 

Soldiers started to fire at the suit while i hid behind it. The suit is bulletproof but i ain't. 

Tony "Guys, stop, we gotta talk this through. "

He shot down the soldiers using rockets from his suit"It was a good talk"

A soldier groaned "no, it wasn't."

Tony stepped out of the suit "Sentry mode.  Okay, JARVIS. You know I want it all. Make sure you copy Hill at HQ.I know you're hiding more than files. Hey, J, give me an IR scan of the room, real quick."

JARVIS"The wall to your left...I'm reading steel reinforcement... and an air current."

Me "I'll cover you"

Tony nodded and i walked out of the door. 

Cap "Guys, I got Strucker."

Tony " Yeah, I got... something bigger. "

I rolled my eyes. 

Tony "Thor, I got eyes on the prize."

Me "hurry up, Tony"

Tony "don't be so rude to your little brother"

I rolled my eyes "shut up"

Tony "Love you too"

I warned "Tonyyy"

Suddenly i got tabbed from behind and spun around. 

I put my hand on the throat of the guy who tabbed me. 

It was Tony with the scepter. 

He chuckled.

I shot him a look "i could have ripped your head off"

Tony smiled, gasping "well,  now you are cutting of my air"

I let go of him and he cut out. 

Tony showed me the scepter "pretty thing, huh?"

I rolled my eyes, amused "Let's go"

On the Quinjet. 

We were flying back to the Avengers Tower. 

Tony "Hey Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul, is it okay if she sets up in your lab?"

Bruce nodded "Uh, yeah, she knows her way around."

Tony " Thanks. Tell her to prep everything, Barton's gonna need the full treatment."

JARVIS " Very good sir."

Stark "JARVIS, take the wheel."

JARVIS " Yes, sir. Approach vector is locked."

Tony walked over to me who was looking at the scepter "It feels good, yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties, but..."

Thor shook his head "No, but this... this brings it to a close."

Cap "As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't just mean weapons. Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?"

Tony "Banner and I'll give it the once before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you? "

Thor nodded. 

Tony "I mean, just a few days until the farewell party. You're staying right?"

Thor nodded "Yes, yes, of course. A victory should be honored with revels."

Tony nodded "Yeah. Who doesn't love revels. Captain?"

Cap " Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and HYDRA, so. Yes, revels."

At the Tower. 

We got out of the Quinjet and walked into the tower. 

Dr. Cho and her nurses took Clint away. 

Hill " Lab's all set up, boss."

Tony pointed at Cap "Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler."

I rolled my eyes and walked into the penthouse.
