A few days later. At the airport. 

I looked at the poster on the wall. "Cap is back- John Walker"

I hissed at it before ripping it off the wall. 

Suddenly i heard behind me "you really must hate that guy"

I glared at him. 

Torres "you met him?"

I shook my head "no. Thanks for doing this on such short notice. "

Torres nodded "Yeah. No sweat. I'm just finishing up the checklist. You'll be all good to go once you land in Munich. "

I walked down the steps. 

Suddenly i heard behind me "Shouldn't have given up the shield."

Me "Hey, Buck"

Bucky "This is wrong."

Me " Hey, hey, look, I'm working, all right? So all this outrage is gonna have to wait. "

Bucky "You didn't know that was gonna happen? "

I asked him irritated "how the hell was i supposed to know that that was gonna happen? You think it didn't break my heart to see them march him out there and call him the new Captain America? "

Bucky shook his head "This isn't what Steve wanted."

I nodded " I don't think any of us wanted this to happen. So, what do you want me to do? Call America and tell 'em I changed my mind? and if that asshole doesn't give me back the shield that i will take it by force"

Bucky shook his head " You had no right to give up the shield, Hayley. "

I stopped walking and turned to him "okay, listen here, Bucky. Steve handed me the shield- wanting me to hand it over to Sam once he was ready to become Captain America. I did what i thought was right and handed it over to the museum till Sam was ready for that title. "

He looked at me. 

Me "It's over, Bucky, and there's nothing you can do about it"

Sam walked over to me "hey, Hayles, you done? Hey, Bucky"

Bucky nodded "Sam, did you know about this?"

Sam "well, i am not happy about it either but we can't change what happened. Besides, we have bigger things to deal with now. "

Bucky asked confused "What could be bigger than this? "

Sam showed him a picture "This guy. His connections with rebel organizations all over Eastern and Central Europe, and he's strong. Too strong. "

Bucky asked confused "And? "

Me "Well, he's been connected to this online group called the Flag Smashers."

Sam "Now, Redwing traced them to a building somewhere outside of Munich. So that's where we're going. "

Bucky "Well, I don't trust Redwing. "

Sam shook his head "You don't have to trust Redwing, but I'mma go see if he's right. 'Cause I have a feeling they might be a part of the Big Three. "

I looked at him confused. 

Bucky asked confused "What "Big Three"? "

Sam "The Big Three. "

Bucky asked confused "What Big Three? "

Sam "Androids, aliens, and wizards. "

I grimaced, shaking my head. 

Bucky shook his head "That's not a thing. "
