Past

At the bridge. 

I looked down the bridge. 

Flashback 1971. (snippets of her past with the Winter Solider)

I turned around and aimed a gun at the man who had been following me for days "who are you and why are you following me?"

He just came closer. 

I stepped back and shot him. 

He caught the bullet with his metal arm and then grabbed my throat with it. 

I gasped out. 

He injected me with something and everything went black .

I cried out as they whooped my mind again "it hurts"

The doc didn't care. 

They turned on the machine again and i cried out again.

Me "don't tell me you are jealous about the fact that they aren't whooping my mind anymore but still whoop yours"

He just looked at the wall. 

I nodded "Right, you don't talk unless superiors talk to you, i forgot about that. But we are partners now which means you have to say something at some point"

He looked at me.

I shook my head "He doesn't talk to me, i can't work with him"

The doc looked at me "find a way. "

Me "He won't talk to me"

The doc looked at me again "find a way"

I rolled my eyes.

Me "We are in this together! you can't go off doing shit like that because shit like that could end up getting me killed!"

He looked at me. 

Me "If you don't accept that they put us together than do us both the favor and kill me already"

He stood up and walked away.

I looked through my gun  "eyes on the target"

The Winter Soldier started to fight the bodyguards of the target. 

I gave the target a head shot when i suddenly felt a bullet hitting my chest.

I cried out and fell to my knees. 

The man aimed a gun at my head. 

I looked at him

Suddenly a bullet landed in between his eyes. 

My eyes widened and i cried out in pain. 

The Winter Soldier showed up and i looked at him with wide eyes. 

He kneeled down to me.

The rules say that a hurt Solider is a useless Soldier, according to the rules he would have to kill me. 

He looked at me. 

I looked at him with tears in my eyes because of the pain. 

He touched me and i flinched.

Something in his eyes twitched. 

Then he picked me up.

Me "you are putting him back in Cyro? Why?"

Gideon "He disobeyed orders"

Me "He saved my life"

Gideon "you were hurt. He should have left you behind"

Me "Well, i guess that's on you. You shouldn't have made us partners if you wanted that to happen"

Gideon looked at me unhappily " Soldier"

I sighed and shut up. 

Gideon "as his partner, you can say goodbye"

I looked at him, nodding "yes, sir"

I walked over to The Winter Soldier who stepped into the Cyro chamber.

He looked at me. 

i asked confused "why did you save me?  you knew the consequences, yet you did it? why?"

He didn't say anything. 

I nodded, angrily "alright"

Then i turned around to leave. 

The Winter Soldier "все вместе" (together)

I turned around and looked at him surprised. 

He just looked at me but there was something in his eye.

The chamber closed and he was put on ice. 

Back to reality. 

I heard something behind me. 

Me "i didn't know his name. He never told me because they made him forget. If i had known that he was Bucky then i would have told you, Steve"

I looked at him. 

He nodded "i know. You and him..."

I nodded "The Winter Soldier and i go way back"

Steve "you wanna talk about it?"

I shook my head "no"

Cap "you know you can trust me, right?"

I looked at him for a second before looking around "He's gonna be there, you know"

Cap sighed before nodding "i know"

Me "you think you'll be able to stop him?"

Cap shook his head "i don't know if I can do that."

Me "Well, he might not give you a choice. He doesn't know you. He didn't recognize me either"

Cap "He will. Gear up, it's time. "
