Chapter 6: Realizations
Nataliya and Isaak blew through lunch, staying at the shooting range for a good ten hours straight. Nataliya was over-eager to learn, and Isaak wanted nothing more than her trust, and more than that, her respect. She was a natural shot, and very intelligent, as well as a fast learner, a deadly combination that surprised Isaak more than one would think. By the end of the day Nataliya could hit the target with every round from 10 meters away.
"Damn Nataliya," Isaak said, "This is frightening, really, just ten hours and your better than all the militia. You should be getting home though, I couldn't get the army to feed you, so you'll have to eat from those cans, sorry... and as for homework, take apart and clean your SIG, then put it together again."
She nodded and said, "I have no idea where I am, how to I get back?"
He described where to go and she followed his directions to the letter.
When she went inside their room Lilia quickly hugged her and said, frantically, "Where the hell have you been!? I was worried!"
"Isaak was teaching me how to shoot, sorry I should have told you." she replied.
"Damn right you should have," she kept her sister in her grasp.
"Can you let go now?"
She let go and straightened her shirt out, "Sorry... I spoke to some woman named Zoya, said she lent you the shampoo, I gave it back."
"Yeah, did you use it?"
"Yes, my hair smells normal again."
The two sisters giggled for a moment.
"So apparently the army isn't giving us food," Nataliya said, "So we'll use the food we got from that house, it should last us at least a week or two if we use it sparingly, by then the city should have ration systems up..."
Lilia sighed and said, "I don't really feel like eating canned shit right now... let's just eat a power bar then go to bed..."
They were both exhausted, and welcomed the idea. They quickly ate their power bars then Lilia pulled off her pants and crawled under their sheets.
"You coming? It's not that warm and I could use someone else," she said.
"Yeah, I just have to do something first," Nataliya responded. she laid out a white tee-shirt, then proceeded to take apart her weapon, remembering where each and every piece went as she did it, she cleaned each part then put it back together. It took about an hour or so, and she welcomed the warmth of a bed, as well as her sister's lilac hair.
She slipped off her pants(for they both slept more comfortably like that) as well as her bra(her sister liked to sleep in one, but Nataliya didn't), and crawled into the bed next to her sister. She laid on her side her nose directly in her sister's hair, the smell overwhelmed her, when usually it would put her to sleep, this time another feeling arose. Her hand gained a mind of its own for a minute as it slowly rubbed across her stomach, the tips of her fingers glanced the skin beneath her underwear for less than a second before she regained control and stopped it.
Her sister had told her about masturbation before, but she had never felt any desire, nor urge to do so, but that smell, that lilac smell, the soft, warm, skin of her sister, it was too much for a time, but Nataliya was far too strong willed to let it overcome her...
