Chapter 7: Acceptance
It wasn't hard for Nataliya to find out where the Prime Minister, a man named Viktor Shcheglov. She simply broke into Bodhan Poltorik's office when he went to console his wife after what Nataliya said to her, he was a good husband. Viktor Shcheglov's room was on the second highest floor in the center of the complex. Nataliya hoped he wouldn't have his full guard with him, seeing as he was inside a military base.
She decided to wait until night, figuring there would be a shorter response time when guns started going off. She went to the shooting range and practiced all day, thankfully the soldier at the armory remembered she came in with Isaak so she didn't get turned away. She kept training herself to pick targets quickly, making a single shot count before moving on to another target, because she knew she needed to master it.
She left the shooting range at 10:00 PM, went to the bathroom one last time, ate her last power bar(she ate the other earlier), then set off to her target.
There were two large men at the front door, each had a suit that must have cost at least 15000 hryvnia, probably more because of the economy. Nataliya faked a look of distress and ran up to one of the guards saying, "I'm lost mister, can you please help me? I can't find my mom."
The guard looked and the other, who nodded. The first guard said, "Okay, let's go inside and call someone."
"Thank you so much mister!" Nataliya responded with a large smile.
He led her inside, There was a large empty sitting area with two rooms on either side, there were sounds of sex coming from one of the doors, so Nataliya assumed it was the bedroom. The guard led Nataliya to the other room, a study. There was an older man with thick grey hair and a glass of vodka in his hand sitting at a large desk in the center of the room, his suit was even more expensive than the guards, meaning he was probably the Prime Minister. There were two guards behind him, as well as a third person, Isaak.
Before Nataliya could say anything, the guard who led her into the study grabbed her arms.
"So, this is the little girl then, Lieutenant?" Viktor Shcheglov said.
"Yes it is sir," Isaak said, "I'm sorry Nataliya, I couldn't let this happen, they promised not to hurt you though."
"Of course, she's just a little girl!" Viktor said, "Her sister on the other hand, well she's practically an adult," He nodded to one of the guards who whistled loudly to the opposite room.
Nataliya's heart stopped, everything went silent. Isaak said something angrily towards Viktor, but Nataliya was much more worried about what she heard in the bedroom. After a minute or so Nataliya heard the bedroom door open, then she heard Lilia crying, and someone being dragged across the floor.
Lilia was thrown onto her back in front of Nataliya, she was wearing nothing but torn panties. She was bruised, bloody, and beaten.
"You son of a bitch!" Isaak yelled, "What the fuck is this!?"
"You'd best watch your tongue, lest you end up dead," Viktor responded, glaring at Isaak. He turned his gaze to Nataliya and continued, "I hope you don't mind that I let my boys talk with her a bit. We wouldn't do this to you though, then it wouldn't be much of a message, now would it?"
Nataliya clenched her teeth hard and glared at the man with eyes full of hate.
"Why the hell did you do this!?" Isaak yelled.
