Sadly, Jax wasn't able to spend time with Silena after proving it was her. Instead, she was with Alaric, Dorian, and Emma in the library. The four of them were currently researching how Jo and Silena could have been brought back to life. Thankfully, Alaric was more willing than before to believe that Jo and Silena weren't actually bad. Jax was wanting to believe it ever since she saw her again. She was just reunited with her sister and her sister working with the enemy would be the worst thing to happen to her today.

The sound of a book closing sounded in the library. Jax set it to the side and sighed, leaning back in her chair. She was so bored of sitting here and trying to read. Jax had no idea why they wanted her help to find something out seeing as she couldn't even read what it was saying. It was probably to make sure that she was distanced from Silena in case something unexpected happened with Jo and Silena.

"I-I don't get it," Alaric stuttered. "They haven't tried to escape, not a word about the knife... They know things that only Jo and Silena know, and let's not ignore the fact that we remember them, so they're not like the other creatures."

Jax didn't like what Alaric insinuated. She looked over at him with a slight glare, "I would appreciate it if you didn't compare my sister to a creature, thank you." The look Alaric gave her told her to be on her guard. Jax chose to ignore it because of the simple fact that nothing bad has happened yet. Neither of them had shown any sign of aggression so did they really need to worry this much?

Concern was prevalent in Emma's eyes as she looked between the two, "Blunt force hasn't gotten them what they want, so they've moved on to psychological warfare. Tread lightly. If Jo and Silena are more monsters, they can do more damage to you two than any dragon." Jax glanced away from Emma's gaze. She really didn't want to believe that her sister was bad. Was that naive of her? Absolutely. But she didn't care. This was the first time she had seen her sister in person in forever.

"It was something she said..," Dorian showed the book to Alaric and Jax for them to see. Jax gave him a look and Dorian remembered when she did. He then just showed the book to Alaric, "Here. There's an eyewitness account of a group of World War I soldiers buried in France... who came back to life and massacred a village," Jax looked up at Dorian, starting to fidget nervously at what he said. "After, they didn't remember hurting anyone, and they all said they'd been 'yanked' back into being. Like Jo and Silena."

This was the last thing that both Jax and Alaric wanted to hear. for two different reasons. Jax because she wanted to believe her sister was good. Alaric because this would cause another problem for them to worry about, "Wait, so someone or something resurrected them and used them to attack a village?"

"Without them even knowing it," Dorian replied.

"That's... Wow," Jax sounded breathless. She started thinking about the possibility. Maybe Silena was being controlled? Jax shook her head. No! What was she thinking? Was she really going to doubt her sister? One of the only family she had left? Jax stood, "But what if that's not the case?" The teachers and headmaster gave her a look. "Can you blame me for thinking that way?" Jax gestured in the direction where Alaric's office was, "That's my sister who died as a hero. I just can't believe that she would do something like that."
