Two milkshake-covered girls walked into Alaric's office. Well, Jax walked. Lizzie marched inside, opening the door with so much force that Jax worried the doors would come off the hinges. Inside the office, Alaric and Emma were talking about something. Neither of the girls really knew what. The only thing that they heard either of them say was Alaric starting to say that he was something. The headmaster didn't get to finish his sentence since Lizzie decided to finish it for him.

"A jerk!" Lizzie exclaimed. The sound of her voice made the two adults look over at the blondes. Lizzie slammed the office door behind Jax when she walked in. Jax jumped at the loud sound the door made. Alaric stood to his feet, looking alarmed at his daughter's angry mood, "You are a total jerk!"

The girl stopped beside Alaric's desk. Alaric stared at her with wide eyes as he looked over the girls' appearances. He frowned in confusion at the sight he was met with, "What happened to you two?"

"We got into a fight with a baby, isn't it obvious?" Jax inquired sarcastically. She brought her hand up to move hair out of her face. Alaric's gaze was drawn to the blood that had splattered onto her hand when she had punched Connor... So that's why the vampires were looking at her! The blood was dry by now. Jax noticed Alaric looking and said, "Don't worry, it's not mine."

This alarmed the man even more. Lizzie explained to him and Emma what they had just gone through in town before either of the adults could even ask, "A Neanderthal from Mystic Falls High assaulted us with a milkshake. This stupid girl Dana was being-" Lizzie stopped herself. She took a deep breath and tried to calm down. The next time Lizzie spoke, she sounded like she was on the verge of tears, "You know what? I can't even talk about it. But now Hope and Josie are all sisters in solidarity..," Jax had to admit. It hurt her a little bit too. Lizzie turned to Emma, "But as we were walking home, I did the work and dug deep and realized that this is all his fault."

A pointed look was thrown at Alaric by his daughter. Jax said nothing, she just continued to watch the scene in front of her, waiting to see what would happen next. Emma looked at Alaric, also waiting to see what he would say. Alaric had an offended expression on his face and his tone of voice told the same story, "How is this my fault?"

"Because if you had just been at that game instead of running around with Hope, then everything would've gone differently," A few tears slipped down Lizzie's face. Jax pursed her lips as she listened to what the girl had said. Wanting to comfort her even a little bit, Jax took her hand into her own. Lizzie squeezed her hand tightly for comfort, "And it is not fair that she gets to know secrets that your own daughters don't."

There was a moment of silence. Emma glanced between Lizzie and Alaric before turning to the man while nodding in agreement, "She has a point..."
