After multiple therapy sessions, Jax could totally say that she didn't like therapy. Sure, therapy could help... For some people, not her. Jax had a session with the guidance counselor, Emma, early this morning. It started with all of the usual questions until Emma started getting deeper with them. Next thing you know, Emma started asking about how she felt about the whole Percy's disappearance situation. Jax was obviously not wanting to talk about that because just the thought of him physically hurt her. Hearing someone else talk about it just made it worse.
Jax didn't answer Emma's question to which Emma replied with, "You're going to have to talk to someone eventually." And Jax did agree to a certain extent. She knew that she would have to talk to someone at some point... But all the people she wanted to talk to weren't with her. Usually, when she had a problem, she would go to Percy... She couldn't do that for very obvious reasons. Everyone at camp has been pretty busy lately so that ruled them out. Let's not forget about the fact that no one at the school would ever understand what she was feeling and going through.
Jax had left the session with no progress made much to Emma's despair. Jax just decided to distract herself by looking for Landon with Hope and Alaric. Everyone needed a distraction at some point in their lives. Deal with trauma? Or put it in the depths of your mind and do things to distract yourself from it? Jax would most definitely go with the second option, thank you very much. Hope had met up with Jax and they were now on their way outside to Alaric's SUV.
The sight they saw was not one they were expecting. A pair of legs were peaking out from under the car. There were a bunch of tools around and the person seemed to be working on it which was what confused Jax the most. Last time she remembered, the SUV was perfectly fine. Did something happen to it?
Hope, being puzzled by the sight too, frowned in confusion, "Hello?"
A tool clatter to the ground. The person slid out from under the SUV and they were finally able to identify the person. It was Rafael. He was dressed in a white tank top with a pair of jeans. His eyes were squinted because of how bright it was outside. Rafael just sighed, "Hey." He slid back to where he was.
Jax continued to stare at the boy with confusion. He was messing with the car, but what was he doing? "Uh... Raf?" The blonde started. Raf didn't stop working, "Um, what exactly are you doing?"
"Adjusting the sway bar," Raf replied.
"Was it broken?" Hope asked.
They heard a piece of metal snap. Raf rolled back out and got up, "It is now." He was holding the bar that he had just ripped from the vehicle.
"Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?" Jax was sure that it was supposed to be the other way around. She didn't know much about cars, but she had common sense. Why work on the car if he was just going to break it? Was it even broken in the first place? Jax had a lot of questions that she didn't know the answers to.
