❝Don't worry. Hell is big enough for the both of us.❞

It seemed as though everything was in slow motion. Aife could feel the heat of the explosion against her skin, and it felt like a thousand needles were poking at her. Ultimately drawing blood. Her skull was pounding, and her hands were bloody, and scraping against the rubble as she struggled to pull herself up. The missiles wouldn't stop. Everything was going up in flames.

Aife heard a high pitched ringing in her skull, and she immediately put her hands over her ears as she put her head into her knees. She let out a gasp as she felt arms wrap around her waist and pull her to her Feet, it was a blonde woman, who she had never met before. Her eyes were wide, as she looked at the chaos. There were scattered unconscious bodies, people were shouting, and scrambling for safety.

"Lets go," The woman shouted, she urgently went to move Aife to safety, despite her limp leg. Aife didn't listen to her, not that she could, her eyes were still glancing around the battle field, and she was desperately looking for her brother.

"Where is he? Where is my brother?" Aife could barely hear herself over all the screams, her eyes widened when she saw WCKED Soldiers dropping from the helicopter, weapons in their hands as they began to spread out. Seemingly on a search for the missing experiments. In their hands, they had a Kel-Tec KSG shotgun, ready to pull the trigger and shoot at any moving target.

One soldier pulled his trigger on a man who was desperate to Get a way, causing him to fall to his knees as he was continuously electrocuted. Aife allowed the woman to pull her through the field, though, she struggled to keep them both up right.

"You need to go," The woman was muttering over and over, her eyes were struggling to keep themselves open as they both panted heavily. Aife's left arm was wrapped around the blond woman, who's name was Nylah, as they stumbled behind a car.

"They are going to kill you, please, you need to leave, now!" Nylah fell to the ground and leaned against the car, her chest rising and lowering rapidly as sweat glistened and danced across her skin. Her face pulled into a grimace as she moved her dirty hands to cover the large gash that was on her leg. She was bleeding out, fast.

Aife silently thanked her for saving her life, and she didn't want to leave her,  but she had no choice. She had to find help.

"Just hold on," Aife tore a piece of the woman's shirt and applied pressure to the large wound on her thigh, but she didn't know if it was enough. When she was sure that Nylah was doing as told, she ran.

Across the field, Frypan, Minho, and Newt were crouching down behind a couple of barrels, covering their face from any flying objects, "Where's Aife? Thomas- God!" They didn't know where they were, but they spotted Sonya and Harriet on the back of a truck, and didn't think twice before sprinting over to them, their eyes squinted due to the dust that was flying in the air.
