Chloe's Point of View

I wake up from my sleep to find Jayden dabbing my forehead with a cool, damp towel.

"Why hello." I say, my voice dead, a tired smile on my face. "What a refreshing way to wake up."

"Thought I'd treat you. You were whimpering and sweating in your sleep." Jayden tells me, leaning forward to kiss me. I gladly kiss back. "Morning, Baby Girl."

"Morning?" I ask. I swear we were just talking about the week break Jay and I are taking.

"Yeah." My Love laughs. "You slept right through the night. You were all tired out."

I giggle. "I definitely needed the rest. 'In some pain but I'm feeling good."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah." I say, giving Jayden another kiss. "I was whimpering?"

Jay nods. "Are you alright? Bad dream?"

"Probably." I say, putting a hand in Jay's hair. "I can't remember."

"What can I do?" Jayden asks me softly.

I cannot help a smile. This boy is so perfect!

"Take a shower with me?" I ask with a smile. "And accompany me on a run?"

"I thought I was banded from training." Jayden tells me with a funny face, pulling me into his chest.

I giggle and hug his torso, falling into my favorite place.

"A run this morning is your only exception." I tell him, brushing my fingers over a bruise he has on his arm. "Besides, I need some fresh air."

"You can have fresh air without pushing yourself." Jayden tells me.

"I wouldn't be pushing myself."

"Don't act like you didn't burst your stitches for the third time yesterday." Jay says with an eyebrow raised.

"I'm a warrior." I tell him. "Please, Jay?"

I pop a small pout and the puppy eyes. I don't often use these on my boyfriend, but when I do, it always does the trick.

"Ask me after our shower."

I know with that answer I will be getting my run.

Kissing my perfect boy, I excitedly jump up from the bed, wincing madly and falling backwards.

Jayden can't help a laugh and I can't either.

"Come on Love." He says, picking me up. "Be careful."

"Why must I be when I have you to save me?" I ask him, being all smitten.

Rather than answering, Jayden presses his lips to mine and walks us to the bathroom. I giggle but kiss back regardless.

---

After a perfect shower, I take my meds then Jay and I get ready for our run. We dress in long sleeves because of the chilly weather.

After getting a quick bite to eat, Jay and I head out and begin our run, jogging to the City Square and planning to end by the lake.

---

"How you feeling?" Jayden asks me, putting his arm around me as we make our way to the lake.

We've been running for an hour and a half now, an hour lesser than my/our usual runs.

"I'm burning." I tell my boyfriend. "My chest burns."

"You okay?" Jay asks, slowing his pace a tad.
