Chapter Fourteen

"Hi." She greets me, sounding incredibly adorable.

"Hi Baby." I greet her in return, a very large smile evident on my face.

"Is everything alright?" She asks.

"No, everything's good. Just," I point to the water and first aid kit. "Got your water and I'm gonna stitch your cuts back up."

"Okay." She says. I hand her her cup of water. "Thank you My Love."

I smile at her calling me 'My Love'. "Of course Baby Girl."

Chloe takes a couple sips of water before handing it back to me. I place it back on the table and pick up the first aid kit. I open it and grab the things I'm going to use to stitch Chloe's wounds.

"Thank you for taking me out of the bath Love, I would of turned into a prune." She laughs.

I join in. "No need to thank me Baby. I'd do it all over again."

"Taking me out of the bath while I'm sleeping?" She asks.

I begin cleaning her wounds. She flinches a little and I give her an apologetic smile.

"Take you out of the bath while you're sleeping, prepare you a bubble bath, make you feel amazing," I pause my actions and give her side a quick tickle. Her giggles fill the room. "I'd do it all over again without hesitation."

Jayden's Point of View

"I am so lucky to have you in my life." My Beautiful Chloe tells me once I'm done stitching her wounds. "I couldn't be more grateful."

I bring a hand to her cheek and caress it gently. "I am the one who couldn't be more grateful Baby Girl."

Chloe giggles adorably and sits up quickly to give me a kiss. I kiss back instantly and melt at the feeling of Chloe's lips on mine.

We pull away and smile at each other.

"I love you." I say to My Chloe.

"I love you more." She tells me, giggling more. 

Damn that giggle!

"I don't think that is possible Chloe." I tell her, brushing my thumb against her skin. "I love you more."

Chloe rolls her eyes playfully. "Yeah yeah, whatever."

I laugh and kiss her lips quickly, more of her giggles filling the room. 

This is my Chloe. Her being out of it and uneasy is not the way I like seeing the love of my life. Her, smiling and giggling, that is what I like seeing. Maybe it was just an episode, maybe nothing was wrong and everything is alright. I sure as hell hope.

I look at my beautiful girlfriend and can't help but notice she's still in my black bath robe. 

"What?" Chloe asks me, seeing I am staring at her body.

I chuckle. "Nothing Baby Girl. Only that you're still in my robe." 

"Oh!" Chloe says sitting up and untying the straps of the robe from around her waist. "Here!"

"Chloe, stop Baby." I say, laughing more as I take her hands off her waist. "You can wear it Love. That's not why I mentioned it."

"Oh, okay..." My adorable Love says with a little blush. "Why'd you mention it then?"

"Just thinking we should get you in some real clothes? I could run to your room and grab you some if you'd like?"
