Chapter Fifteen

Chloe's Point of View

I wake up with my head in Jayden's neck and his arms wrapped softly around me. 

I breathe gently as I think back to what happened before we both fell asleep.

1. I woke up completely naked with the amazing memory of making love to my fantastic, sexy, incredible boyfriend last night.

2. Told my fantastic, sexy, incredible boyfriend I wouldn't be able to have children.

3. My fantastic, sexy, incredible boyfriend told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.

4. Sitting in a bubble bath with my fantastic, sexy, incredible boyfriend and us having the best conversation of my life.

5. Falling asleep and waking up in Jay's black bathrobe, Jayden holding me in his lap and Ji in the room with us.

6. Stressing about the...weird dream I had (It was probably nothing).

7. Jayden holding me in the air and us messing around with each other.

8. Me speaking french to Jay.

The day has already been full of events but I wouldn't change it for the world.

The only thing that I am a little worried and confused about is my need to be with Jayden all the time. I don't like him leaving my side and it's weird because I never had a problem before. I think I have an idea what could be wrong but I want to talk to Ji about it.

With that being said, I gently unwrap Jayden's arms from around my waist and quietly get up from the bed. Once I'm standing, I lean down and give Jayden a kiss on his forehead. He smiles and rubs his head into the pillow, staying asleep.

I smile at my boyfriend and leave the room.

Once I get out of Jayden's living quarters, I make my way down the hallways. I walk past the dojo and see the team in their training uniforms, all four of them training with practice swords. They wave at me as I walk by and I wave back.

I get to the living room and I don't see Ji so I make my way to the kitchen and find him preparing food.

I lean on the wall with my arms crossed and watch him until he notices me.

"Shiba, you're awake." He says once he sees me.

"Yup, woke up a few minutes ago." I say.

"And Jayden?" He asks.

"Still sleeping. Decided to give him his bed for a little while." I reply.

"I see." Ji says with a smile. "I was just preparing some brunch for the two of you."

"Brunch?" I asked, confused. "What time is it?"

"Minutes to twelve." Ji replies.

"Shoot, I didn't know it was so late in the day."

"Late in the Shiba? It's not even afternoon yet." Ji says with a laugh.

"Oh hush, you know usually I would've been up for hours." I say as I walk towards my mentor and help him with the food he's preparing.

We work in silence for a little before Ji speaks up.

"What's going on?" 

I give him a 'what makes you think something's going on' look.

He gives me a 'I've known you your entire life I know when something is wrong' look.

"Nothing gets past you huh?" I ask as I look at the strawberries I hold in my hands.
