I wake up this morning to the sound of the gap sensor.

Usually the gap sensor would never go off. Now, it's once or twice a month.

Which is bad.

I jump out of bed and head to the living room to see where the attack is being held. I tap the center of the table and see it's in the city.

"You ready?" My mentor Ji asks me.

"How can I not be? I've been training for this my whole life." I send him a wink and run out the door.

"Chloe! Wait!" I hear.

I turn around and see Ji standing behind me. I send him a look saying 'yes?'

"Why don't I give you a ride.." Ji has a smirk plastered on his face.

I know exactly what he is thinking.

I see a young boy surrounded by mougers when Ji and I arrive in the city. I pull out my Lion Zord, the one my father gave to me before his final fight, and send it towards the mougers, letting my Zord take out the ones that are about to attack the kid. After my lion Zord takes out the mougers, it flies into my hand.

Ji picks up the kid and tells him to run. He listens and sprints as fast as he can away from the mougers. Ji then creates white smoke, seeing I am about to morph into my suit. Once it disappears, I am revealed to be in my Samurai Power Ranger suit... Red Samurai Power Ranger suit.

"Look before you mougers." Ji begins. "This is the 18th leader of the Samurai Power Rangers. Descendant of the man who defeated your master years ago. You have two choices: retreat now, or become rust on her blade."

"Don't bother," I say "I don't want them to retreat. I wanna take them for a spin."

I pull out my sword from my waist. I look at the mougers, seeing if they are going to retreat, run away. However and thankful, they don't.

"Yes." I think "It'd never hurt to get more practice in."

I place my sword on my shoulder and sprint towards the mougers, fighting every one that comes in my way.

I use my amazing swordsmanship to take out the mougers, along with hand to hand combat when necessary.

I fight the mougers without breaking a sweat. They really are weak! I become bored and pull out my fire disk.

"Time to heat things up!" I say

I replace my normal spin sword disk with my fire one and spin it hard.

My sword lights up and I take the remaining mougers out in 30 seconds flat.

I take a deep breath and demorph. I then turn around and walk towards Ji.
He has a huge smile on his face.

"Excellent!" He says "I am so proud of the warrior I devoted my life to training has become a master samurai and is ready to lead others into battle."

"But I'm used to fighting alone." I say. "I don't want to put anyone else's life in danger."

"The Nialock attacks are escalating! More and more are coming to perform their evil!"

"Sure! And if any more mougers dare pay us a visit, they can have a taste of my spin sword."

I walk past Ji. I have no interest in leading a team of other Rangers. Let alone fight along side others.

"Do not underestimate the power of Master Xandred if he awakens." Ji says.
