Chapter Four

Author's Note: Hey Everyone! Just before we start I want to mention something real quick.
I know this particular season of Power Rangers is very...traditional, at least Jayden and Kevin and Mia were in the show (unlike Mike and Antonio). All the Symbol Power was based off the element of the Ranger they posses (of course you guys know that). In this story, 'Symbol Power' can be used sorta like magic. You'll understand in the later chapters, I just wanted to give you a heads up. Anyways, enjoy!

Chloe's Point of View

I am in the kitchen with Ji, making dinner for the team.

It felt good talking to Ji about how I feel about Jayden. He helped me decipher my feelings and I couldn't be happier to have come to a conclusion. It also feels good spending some time with Ji. It feels like old times where him and I would spend the whole day together training, then take a break and cook some dinner. 

We hold a nice steady conversation while we make dinner, and after what feels like fifteen minutes but is actually an hour, the team comes back from the battle. All my rangers come through the door smiling brightly, entering the kitchen.

"Is that dinner I smell?" Mia asks.

"Sure is." Ji replies.

"Well isn't this nice. Seeing Miss Red Ranger up and feeling better." Kevin said, coming to my side and giving me a hug.

"I am feeling much better Kevin, thank you." I told him, giggling slightly.

"She giggles!" Emily exclaims.

"She does." Jayden says, coming to my side and wrapping an arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.

"Oooooohhhhhhhh!" The team cheers as they see Jayden and I's ounce of affection towards each other.

"That's enough everyone." Ji says, calming the team down. "Let's wash hands and help set the table?" He asks, but we all know that was no question.

"Alright Ji, alright." Mike says laughing as him and the team go  to their personal quarters to tidy themselves up.

Jayden unravels his arm from around my waist. "I'll be back." He tells me smiling. I nod my head, smiling at him as he makes his way to his room to tidy up.

I notice my cheeks burning and place my hands on them to try my best to cool them down. I turn around to see Ji smirking at me. 

"Not a word." I tell him sternly, pointing my finger at him. He laughs and puts his hands up in surrender.

"So how was the battle everyone?" I ask the team.

"Amazing!" Emily begins.

"Yeah, but it didn't feel the same without you there Chloe." Mia finishes.

"I will be sure to attend the next battle." I tell the table. "I am truly sorry I was absent today."

"It's totally alright Chloe." Mike says.

"Yeah, don't even worry about it." Kevin says, backing up what Mike said.

"I hope it wasn't too difficult to take out the Nialock...?" I ask the team, scared they might of had some trouble.

"Well, when we worked together as a team, we were able to take him out." Mia said, smiling at the entire table.

"Yeah, the mega monster wasn't too difficult either, even if we were unable to create the Mega Zord." Emily says.

"No one got hurt too badly I hope." I say.
