"Don't leave me...please..." A male human-like creature held the body of a smaller male in his arms desperately. His once-white wings were now splattered with blood. Fat, ugly tears streamed down his face as he whimpered, "Please... I'm begging you... my love... you can't leave me alone..."
Two heterochromatic eyes blinked slowly up at him, filled with such warmth and sorrow it squeezed the winged male's heart. Scarlet liquid was seeping from the smaller male's body onto the robes of the winged male, dripping onto the ground where the winged male had collapsed, clinging to his lover's weakening body.
A large, dark talon-like object was impaled through the smaller male's body, spilling his life blood like a broken dam.
"Please... please... I love you so much. Anyone but you... take me instead... just please..."
Upon hearing his lover's sobs, the smaller male shakily reached up a hand to softly cup his lover's cheek. A golden-tinted tear dropped lightly onto his own face as he whispered, "I love you, too... I... so much... my... sweet... feral...boy..."
He gasped, blood gushing from his mouth as his eyes slowly began to dim. The winged male hugged him to his chest, his unique green eyes wild and panicked. He could feel his lover's breathing begin to slow. Until it was barely a breath. Whispering sweet words of affection and desperate pleas for the smaller boy to never leave him, he felt it.
The moment his whole world's heart stopped. The moment the only person he ever loved departed from him. That was when he felt it snap. Deep inside of him.
He stood up, holding his lover's body tight against him. An ominous, dark air surrounded him as he curled his massive wings protectively around the body hanging limply in his arms. This wasn't over. This wasn't the end.
It was never the end. Not until this fucking world gave him back his everything.
He gently brushed his lover's dark brown hair out of his eyes as he whispered, "I'll bring you back to me. Whatever it takes."
