George404 POV

The grew chilly as they neared the ice cave. George404 listened to DreamXD's soft humming, feeling rather content. Sure, the god of mischief was a pain in the ass and one of the most obnoxious gods George404 had ever met, but he was also good company.

DreamXD noticed the change of temperature quickly, his uninjured wing lifting curiously. "Are we almost there?"

George404 nodded. The vibrant greenery of the enchanted forest began to change to soft white. Frost coated the plant life, with a thin layer of snow on the ground. Glowing icicles hung from icy branches. George404 pulled his cape closer over his shoulders, heading to where a mountain rose into the sky.

DreamXD looked longingly at the top of the mountain, and for the first time George404 wondered what it must feel like not to be able to fly. His eyes settled on the bandages wrapping DreamXD's wing, the sling that held the injured wing in place. DreamXD had never complained about pain or frustration. George404 often woke up to find him shifting restlessly on the couch, scolding him for not waking up George404 for pain relief medication.

DreamXD was weird about applying medicine, usually dodging George404's attempts to check his injury. George404 couldn't decide if he was sympathetic or extremely annoyed. Maybe a little of both.

Light blue orbs of light floated in the air, lighting the rapidly darkening forest. George404 moved to a jog when he spotted the entrance to a cave.

"Is that it?" DreamXD kept up with him easily.

"Yes." George404 could never get over the beauty of the cave when he emerged inside. Covering the cave were crystals of different shades of blue glowing brightly, illuminating the cave with a soft blue light. Vines trailed down the cavern walls, twined with frozen roses.

George stepped carefully to where spiky bushes sprouted from the cavern floor. DreamXD hovered over George404's shoulder curiously. George404 ignored him, instead focusing on the deep purple berries covered in a thin layer of frost. The berries were just a little larger than the average grape, looking plump and juicy.

George404's mouth was watering as he carefully picked the berries from their delicate stems. Depositing the berries into a drawstring bag, he winced at the cold that nipped his fingers. He always forgot to bring gloves.

DreamXD leaned down to snatch a berry, turning away to toss it into his mouth from under his mask. His uninjured wing was drawn tight to his body, and George404 realized he should have found the tall man something warmer. A green cloak and black crop top really weren't clothing for the ice cave. George404 always wore a long sleeve shirt under his sweater, along with his thick cape, so he was fine. Gods didn't learn to control body temperature completely until around nineteen.

DreamXD didn't seem to mind as he tilted his head, spinning to reach for the bush again. George404 smacked his hand away.

"You said you would share!" DreamXD whined, trying to dodge George404's hands to snatch another berry.

"Wait until we get back you idiot!"

DreamXD slouched, moving to sit on a large crystal. George404 returned smugly back to his work. He shocked when, as he turned to his bag with another handful of berries, the bag was moving on its own. George404 barely managed to grasp the edge of the bag as it moved towards DreamXD. The bag stubbornly pulled in his arms, forming a game of tug-of-war.

Turning a furious yet startled gaze to the young god of mischief, he was saw a gentle green light emitting from DreamXD's index finger, which was curling in a come here gesture at the bag.
