Jace and I were together and it was awkward we walked around the store searching for Journey and Stacey for what felt like forever they were nowhere to be found. "Maybe I should try to call her they can't be that far this store isn't that big," I told Jace while searching my pockets for my phone. Just to remember that I left it in Stacey's purse.
"Crap, I left my phone in Stacey's purse, maybe you can try Journey on your phone," I looked up at Jace.
"Oh umm yeah sure,"
"Still no answer" he looked at me and then back down at his hands.
"I guess we can take this time we have alone to talk" I knew exactly what he wanted to talk about, and his timing was off.
"Okay about what" I acted oblivious to what he was talking about.
"So umm about our conversation in the parking, when I told you I had to ask you a question" I nodded my head giving him the ok with the question he was going to ask. He was fiddling with his fingers I guess trying to conjure up the words to say.
"ok um will--," Just as he was about to ask me the question he's been festering on for three days now Journey and Stacey turned the corner of the alie we were on and he stopped and turned away.
"Hey guys, there you are we have been looking for you everywhere,....oh did we interrupt something." Journey stopped in his tracks and looked at Jace who was staring him down.
"No you guys are fine we should get going before the storm starts up again,"
"Great idea Aspie, we don't want to get caught up in that mess" Stacey grabbed the cart and walked to the nearest checkout stand.
