I don't know what happened with Jace today he has these horrible mood swings and it's hard to keep up with them. One minute he's this nice guy who looks at me like I'm the only girl in the world and the next he's ripping me apart with his cruel words. How do I deal with that he didn't even let me explain myself nor let me even get a word in to start.

"Hey, beautiful," I hear a soft voice from behind me as I turn around I see Mrs.Villa standing behind me wearing the most beautiful blush pink dress, and her hair was perfectly curled. What was she doing here at Rush?

"Hi, Mrs. Villa is so nice to see you," I smiled and she came in for a hug I wasn't fond of hugs but for her, I guess so.

"You too honey, How is your sister doing I never really get to see her as much as I would like"

"Oh Stacey is good she is just really focused on her testing for--,"

"Her teaching right, she wants to be a teacher, I have many connections at very high-end schools I could get her in" Mrs.Villa blurted out and looked at me for confirmation and all I could do was smile and nod I didn't know what to say because our mother has always taught us to get everything we wanted on our own because "you never want someone to tell you that it's because of them you have what you have." "Umm I will let her know but knowing Stacey she would want to do all of this on her own she's very independent" I smile hoping that I didn't hurt Mrs. Villa's feelings. "Oh yes I know you Stacey and you are much like your mother in that department," she smiled and tucked a stubborn curl that was hanging in my face behind my ear.

"One small blond roast non-fat latte for Villa?" The tall barista called out and handed Mrs. Villa her coffee. Just before leaving she turned towards me "Can you tell your mother to stop by our place, we need to go over some paperwork tonight you and Stacey are welcome to come over as well, actually come we will have Debbie cook us up a fancy dinner." I smiled and nodded and she made her way out of the huge glass doors. Just as she walked out my headache walked in hoping that I blend in with all the other college girls in here I waited at the front counter for my coffee.

"Aspen!" the barista yelled my name. Like he couldn't say it any louder I grabbed my coffee and made my way to the front doors trying to avoid an unnecessary but much-needed conversation that I needed to have with Jace. "Aspen" he called out to me trying to grab my hand as I gently pulled away from him without looking into those hypnotizing eyes just to see Bexley standing next to him smirking.
