The commotion of the emergency department has jolted me awake on few occasions. As I drift in and out of consciousness, everything feels foggy and confusing. I'm aware of the oxygen cannula on my face as well as the prickling of needles in my arms.
I still recall how I first noticed Mr. Compress acting strangely. My instincts prompted me to look into it. As I peeked into his head, he was plotting to free Shigaraki and the others at the cost of his capture.
It was a challenging task. I never believed I'd be able to accomplish it again after using most of my strength with Shigaraki the first time. After learning about his plans, I simply designed a visual that led him to believe that his companions were freed. When, in truth, I'm acting like a sports commentator and telling everyone what's on his mind.
This spurred Endeavor to devise a strategy that ultimately resulted in the heroes' victory. They continued to battle the remaining nomus. Best Jeanist's threads on the three captured villains were strengthened even more. Mr. Compress was unable to move or carry out his plans due to my visuals.
After that, reinforcements arrived. My vision had already gotten blurred due to tiredness, and the ringing in my ears had increased in volume. As I began to slump back, someone came for me just in time, just as I was about to pass out.
I have no idea what time it is or how many hours I have been unconscious at this point. I'm awake now, but my eyes won't open and my body won't move. I'm quite aware that this is a result of overusing my quirk. I was still worried when I felt the typical falling sensation as I sank back into a coma.

The heat on my face from the rays of the sun coming through the window was enough to wake me up. For a brief period, everything was blurry until I realized I was in a hospital room. I tried to move my limbs, but the excruciating pain in my chest immediately stopped me. There are bandages all around it, as far as I can tell. I'm sure I've cracked a rib or two.
With much effort, I pressed the call light near my bed. The doctor and several nurses arrived immediately. The bags under their eyes are apparent, and their features show signs of fatigue. Even so, when they walked into the room, they beamed at me.
"Glad to see you awake, Virtual. I am Dr. Cucumberpatch," he introduces himself as he begins to examine me. He concluded that I am now stable and capable of speaking. The nurses were also prompt to do a physical examination and record my medical history.
"Doctor, may I ask you a question?" he nodded while charting
"How lo-ng was I gone?" my voice cracked. After being offered sips of water, my throat is still dry.
"It's already been a week."
"Oh."
Then there was silence. Is it that long? I hope my family isn't too concerned about me. I believe I heard Shouta screaming once during the coma, but it didn't happen again.
"How is Eraserhead?" As if stressed, the doctor groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"As soon as he awoke after his surgery, he demanded to see you. So we took him to you because ambulation would be beneficial to him. But when he saw you unconscious, he had a nervous breakdown. Virtual, he assumed you were dead. To calm him down, we had to sedate him."
I worriedly frowned. My dear husband must be the one who is suffering the most. And I'm sure my poor little girl is concerned that her parents aren't doing well. I'm hoping Nemuri was reassuring her.
"C-can I see him?"
"Have you seen his state during the battle?"
The unusual question piqued my interest.
