I listened to the earpiece nonstop. My hands are clenched so tightly on the side that they have turned white. I'm decoding every word I hear, hoping to hear something that will lead me to help others. I scanned the area around the shelter with my eyes, but my ears were still in the other part of town. This requires a lot of concentration, which I've honed over the years as an underground hero.

A shrill scream from my left catches my attention. A nomu with its brains protruding stood nearby. It was about to attack a civilian, but the heroes intervened quickly. I felt a rumble on the ground as if it was a forewarning of something bad to come.

My instincts did not fail me as more nomus began to march forward to the center. These creatures began to swarm like flies, and I have a large town to protect. I've never fought a nomu before, but from what I've heard, they were once humans.

I'll see if my quirk comes in handy. I focused my attention on the approaching nomu. It only has one eye and its back is covered in long barbs. Its razor-sharp nails drag along the concrete, scratching the pavement along the way.

I envisioned a scenario of it speeding up towards me, and when it was about to slash me with its nails, I used my blades to slice its neck. Its head is bouncing off the ground. The nomu came to a halt and clutched its throat in horror.

I smirked at the fact that my quirk has an effect on nomus. With that discovery, I ensured that what I imagined became a reality. I focused my attention on the head in front of me.

"Fuck you," I cursed before slamming my blade into his skull. I've never been in a war this large. But I know it's either you kill or be killed. I have no intention of dying in this fight. My daughter is expecting me. I'll be damned if I leave Shouta alone. Eri will not have a stepmother!

I looked around to see if anyone needed my assistance, but the heroes were either up teaming with each other or the others were handling the nomus quite well. This nomu is strong, but not mentally strong enough, which is why I was able to finish quickly by stalling it. This went on for a few nomus until I heard static in the earpiece.

"You're in the way, Eraser head!"

I stiffened. This voice...

Chills ran down my spine as I heard who it was. Through the earpiece, I can sense an overwhelming aura of death emanating from this individual. I had a feeling this was Shiragaki Tomura, the next All for One.

Whatever is going on, I know Shouta is in big trouble. Dread began to fill my system, causing my hands to tremble. My body reacted once more before I could even think. I moved in the direction Midoriya had mentioned earlier.

Is it possible that I'm breaking the rules? Yes! But I am willing to face any consequences in the future if it means my husband has a better chance of survival. I won't abandon Shouta in this dreadful world, but I also won't let him abandon us.

"No. You're in the way!"

For a brief moment, my lover's yell brought me relief. I heard a loud wham as if two bodies collided. I forced myself to close my eyes and clear my mind of all the negative scenarios. In anticipation and fear, my heart began to race. What is going on?! No one's talking for a minute there. Fuck! No, please. Please.

My feet began to scurry in a mad dash. My heartbeat can even be heard in my ear. The adrenaline in my veins caused me to move and react more quickly. I need to get to them as soon as possible!

"It's our turn!" Bakugou's voice rang out. What a son of a b*tch! What on earth is he going to do? What about the rest of the heroes? Why are they allowing the kids to fight on their own?

"What?!" Eraserhead exclaimed, accompanied by someone I assumed belonged to Gran Torino. I was astounded as well.

"As long as Shigaraki's quirks are erased, we can join this fight too!" Was that Midoriya?

"The worst-case..." I kept listening while sprinting as fast as I could to get there.

"...is losing our teacher!" I choked back a sob as I heard the words of the student who had come to protect his teacher. Okay, fuck! Please, please, please, kids, be extra cautious. Later on, that ash-blonde will get a pinch in the ear!

"The teacher who has watched over us all this time! We can't lose him!"

My heart is overflowing with a newfound determination to fight. Man, they kinda made me feel useless as a pro-hero. Suddenly, rapid booming sounds and Bakugou's shouting can be heard. These children are putting their lives in danger as we speak to the person whom everyone adores. There's no way in hell I'm going to run aimlessly.

Shigaraki appears to be talking to himself at times, based on what I've heard so far. Perhaps he sees something that others do not. Eraserhead can't hold his gaze indefinitely, so he needed even a brief moment to blink. I know his eyes are strained to open by this point. I hope someone is nearby to assist him with his dry eyes.

Anyway, let's get back to Shigaraki. What he was saying earlier is incomprehensible. So, to create the best plan and visual I can, I need the assistance of the man who has been specifically assigned to this task.

I asked Gran Torino to meet me halfway and told him I had a plan as I pressed the speak button in my earpiece. I gave him my coordinates, and he said he'd be right there.

"Virtual."

I softly smiled at my husband's solemn voice, which he had clearly heard over the earpiece. His tone is clear enough for me to decipher his hidden message.

"Eraser," I replied. I love you too.

I came to a halt when I noticed a dash of yellow bounding near me. "Thank you, Gran Torino; I was wondering if you noticed Shigaraki talking to himself earlier?" I said straight to the point.

The elderly hero nodded, "yes, I'm assuming All for One was speaking to him. He has control over Shigaraki, so he could be conversing with him."

"But it appears that he does not welcome the voice of his master," I observed based on the boy's earlier scream. I started going over my plans, and he agreed by nodding his head.

"Indeed. I hope what you're planning comes to fruition," he patted my shoulder, and I only smiled gratefully. He waved goodbye and dashed back to where he had come from.

Alright, I hope this will work.
