I plopped down on my bed tiredly. The report took me an hour to finish and I swear my head is swirling from all the formal words I had to write.
It has been two agonizing days and Nighteye has not contacted me yet. By now, maybe more than half of the possible locations are eliminated. I looked at my phone and saw that it is 10:00 already. I should order dinner from room service.
I grabbed the telephone and ordered a lot. I need to regain my energy because I might be needed any day now. The mission I just finished will be the last one for a while.
I decided to sell my house and came here. Though, I don't plan on buying a house here as of yet. I'm not sure of the situation I'll be in once Eri is with me. I lay down on my bed once again. I looked around my presidential suite to look for something to do.
I opened the television to find some calming videos or kid cartoons. I might as well prepare the visuals I'm going to give Eri. My eyes laid on Paw Patrol. The kids at the daycare are crazy about them.
My heart is a little bit saddened by the thought of not seeing the little nuggets at the daycare center again. I turned in my resignation letter the same day I arrived back at the meeting. But before I left, I made sure to give Tetsuya-kun his visual. He was so happy with 'Kuroko no Basket' and that he will play basketball when he grows up.
The teachers arranged a last-minute farewell party for me. The kids didn't actually understand what's happening. They thought it was my birthday and sang their little hearts out. A large card with their handprints is given to me as a memento along with a photo of all of us.
They send me off with smiles and waves. A small grin made its way on my face as I received a message earlier from my former co-teacher that when I didn't show up the next day, the kids were bawling their eyes out.
My thoughts are interrupted when I heard my phone pinged. Reaching for it, I lazily opened the message. I cracked my knuckles and smirked,
"It's showtime."

It was 8:00 in the morning, the police force, as well as the heroes, are already present at the police station. The police briefed us about the location as well as the quirks of the Hassaikais. It really is better to be prepared than sorry.
"They ain't wasting any time," I heard someone exclaim. I looked around and saw that it was Fat Gum's intern. It was the shitty red hair- oops, I mean Red Riot. I approached them.
"Hello guys," I smiled and waved my hand at them.
"Virtual!" They all cheered and I grinned even wider. They bowed for a greeting and introduced themselves one by one.
Uravity, the round-cheeked cheerful girl. Froppy, with her big eyes and flexible tongue. Lemillion, his blonde hair, and a big smile are apparent. Deku, the green-haired freckle boy. Nejire-chan, looking cute with her positive smile. Of course, we have the overexcited Red Riot and a panicking Suneater.
"How are you guys feeling?" I asked Uravity particularly, noting the crease in her forehead.
"I'm getting kinda nervous," her shaky voice replied.
This must be her first time to be a part of a big operation like this. Well, this can serve her in the future. I know she'll learn a lot today.
"It is normal. Even I, a pro-hero gets nervous at the start of every mission I have,"
"Woah! So you're getting nervous too? I never thought that's the case since all you pros are calm," Red Riot interjected.
I nod at his statement, "But, when I think of the pain and hopelessness the victims are feeling now, my motivation to save them overpowers my nervousness," I winked at round cheeks and patted her head. She's cute!!!
