Fake date part 3🤍

Your fake dating had been going on for another 3 weeks. It was back and fourth planning to get Rafe and Alyssa jealous. Some worked, some didn't.

"What's your boyfriend doing talking to his ex?" One of your friends from school asked you as the both of you were leaning against the lockers. You glanced over to see JJ towering over Alyssa.

With a glare and a roll of your eyes, you walked over to them quickly.

"Hi babe" You said, wrapping one of your arms across his back. JJ was a little confused, and obviously frustrated because you had interrupted him, but quickly shook it off to remain convincing.

"Hey how's it going?" He wrapped his arm around your waist too.

"Good I was just wondering whether we're still on for tonight"

"Tonight?"

You took a quick glance at Alyssa who was scanning you up and down with an unimpressed facial expression.

"Yeah you said you were gonna take me on the HMS later?"

JJ raised his eyebrows, realising where you were going with this. Everyone knew Alyssa loved boats; her dad raced them but never let Alyssa go on one. Hearing this plan would drive her crazy.

"Oooh yeah yeah sure I'll pick you up at 7 still"

"Ok I'll see you later then" You smiled, but took him by surprise when you reach your hand up to hold the back of his neck before leaning in and pressing a kiss to his lips.

It started off as a peck as JJ tried to comprehend what you had just done, but it soon moved to a more passionate make out which was lead by him.

You pulled away to see him smirking.

Looking at Alyssa again, she was death staring you more than ever.

"Bye Alyssa" You smiled before pulling away from JJ. He gently caught your arm in his hand, allowing you to pull your arm through it gradually. Alyssa didn't like that either; it made you two look so much more intimate.

A little later on, your phone buzzed...

JJ-  thought you weren't gonna kiss me

You- well I changed my mind

JJ- am I allowed to say that I liked it?

With a heavy sigh, you thought about your response for a second. Why were you even hesitating?

You- nope

JJ- well I did

You- don't get ahead of yourself, it was only to make Alyssa jealous

JJ- sure sure

Just after you ignored him, your phone buzzed again.

JJ- you coming to john b's party later?

You- yeah probably, are you?

JJ- yup

You- great, just the answer I wanted🙄😑

JJ- fuck off Y/N

You- see u later sunshine <3

And with that, you turned your phone off and began to get ready for the party. You wanted to look extra nice just in case Rafe found his way there, plus it would help to make Alyssa even more jealous.

You arrived at John B's party and spotted JJ straight away. You tried not to make it noticeable that you hadn't seen him, because people would've found it weird if you didn't go over to greet your own boyfriend.

"Hey Y/N!" Alyssa suddenly jogged over to you with a smile on her face, Rafe holding her hand. "You look really nice"

"Hey" You smiled, trying to ignore Rafe completely, "So do you!"

"So no boat trip in the end then?" She rushed to ask, looking over at JJ with furrowed eyebrows.

"Ah yeah, Alyssa was telling me about that Y/N" Rafe added.

You frowned in confusion, but then remembered what she was talking about. Shit. How were you gonna get out of this one?

"Oh uh JJ just got caught up, we're going soon"

Rafe and Alyssa looked at eachother and smirked, making it very obvious that they were beginning to figure out the suspicions between you and JJ. Without a goodbye, you walked away from them and over to your fake boyfriend.

"Hey" You said abruptly, staring at some girls he was with until they walked away, leaving just you two.

"Take me on the HMS" You mumbled quietly after leaning up to kiss him but instead talking in his ear.

He held your hand to make it look a little more natural.

"What?" He whispered back.

"We have to go to the boat. Alyssa and Rafe are figuring it all out"

Then JJ realised what you were talking about. He nodded, holding your face in his hand and kissing you before you could even prepare. You loved kissing him, but you would never admit that.

When you pulled away, he was looking into your eyes.

"Why did you do that? Were they looking?" You asked quietly.

"No" JJ smiled, "I just felt like kissing you"

You didn't really know what to say. This wasn't like JJ at all; usually he would've made a snarky comment to piss you off.

"Come on" You said dismissively, holding onto JJ's bicep as the both of you walked past Rafe and Alyssa. JJ had a proud smirked on his face, whereas you just stared at Rafe with no expression at all.

"God he wants to chop my balls off" JJ said when you had got passed them and began heading to get the boat keys from John B's chateau.

You couldn't help but laugh, shaking your head in amusement.
