"Let's get your shoes on before Mommy's here okay?" JJ said to your 3 year old daughter. You were watching them both from the kitchen with a smile.

Ever since you gave birth to your little girl at 18, you and JJ had been living in John B's chateau. It was only up until recently that you had moved out and found your own little chateau.

You were about to head off as a trio to the supermarket for your weekly shop. Usually Sarah would look after Alice whilst you shopped and JJ worked at the country club but JJ had a day off, so you figured why not go shopping together.

JJ slipped Alice's pink shoes on and then sat her on his lap as they waited for you. He bounced his leg whilst talking to her sweetly, softening down her crazy blonde hair.

"Go get Mommy" He then said to her, so your daughter shot up off JJ's lap and over to you.

You gasped dramatically. "You found me!"

She grabbed your hand with a huge smile and attempted to drag you out the door. You let her, JJ following on and locking it behind you.

JJ held your thigh as you drove to the supermarket.

"There's a dog!" Alice pointed out the window and shouted. You both glanced at a little dog walking beside an old man.

"Yeah that's right Al! And what noise does a dog make?" JJ responded, looking back at your daughter.

"WOOF!" She bellowed out.

You and JJ laughed at the sound. He looked at you as you did so, admiring your happiness despite how constantly tired you seemed to be. You caught him staring at you, so he smirked even more and gave your thigh a little squeeze.

"Hello doggy, hello doggy, hello doggy" Alice repetitively mumbled quietly in the back during the whole journey to the supermarket.

You pushed the shopping cart slowly through the store as JJ walked slightly ahead, Alice in his arms.

"JJ baby wipes" You called out as he walked past them. He stopped in his tracks and started to walk backwards, beeping as a reversing car would. Your little girl giggled.

"Can you grab them for Daddy"

He moved a little closer so that Alice could reach and grab the wipes. She held them up to JJ, so he gasped with a smile, his eyes widening, and took them off her.

You had left the cart on a stand still as you were choosing what fruit to buy.

"Shall we try and get it in?" JJ asked Alice, eyeing the wipes and then the cart.

Alice nodded.

He aimed and then did a terrible throw, causing it to just miss someone's head who had stood next to you.

You widened your eyes as the lady glared at your boyfriend and little girl.

"I'm sorry!" He exclaimed, trying desperately to hold in a roar of laughter. Alice just stared at you as she watched you frozen and somewhat scared of this lady.

JJ walked closer to you.

"Can't expect more from a bunch of reckless teens with a child" She spat. JJ put Alice down and guided her over to you. You held her hand, watching JJ step towards the woman.

"What did you say?" He mumbled quietly so that Alice couldn't hear.

The woman stayed silent.

"Go back to your shopping Ma'am"

She hurried off, leaving JJ to turn around to the both of you again. That was when he started to laugh, and of course you and Alice couldn't resist doing so too. JJ put his hand on your back as you started to push the cart, holding his hand out for Alice.

They wandered behind you again, chatting on about all sorts of stuff.

"You wanna help Daddy pack the bags?" JJ asked Alice as your items were being scanned. She nodded with excitement, so he lifted her up.

"Corrrrrr you're getting so heavy" He said, placing her on the edge of the surface. He held her steady by her little waist as she clumsily packed the bags. You helped her, of course, because you'd be there all day if you didn't.

"Good job" You said, giving her a high five once the last bag was packed. You finished paying as JJ crouched down and let Alice sit on his shoulders; something they did quite a lot.

You guys walked through the door getting several smiles from people.

Alice was a confident little girl, so she waved at the people she passed.

You got to the car and JJ eased Alice back to the ground. He helped you put the bags in the trunk before getting Alice in her baby seat.

"Can we go to the park?" Alice shouted out, making JJ chuckle as he put her seatbelt on.

"I'll ask mommy, she's the boss," He winked, "Now gimme kiss" He then pouted. Alice did so before JJ straightened down her blonde hair gently and then shutting the door, getting back into the front.
